| Sky Upon Us | Just like shrt says, it's possible to lose focus, which can be a little annoying :P The game was pretty fun, though a little repetitive. More gameplay elements would be cool, and more kinds of enemies. | ||
| Sir Henry Placeholder and the Badly Timed Parade | Cool game, having to come up with strategies against bosses is always fun. | ||
| Title Unknown | It's really fun and frustrating playing a game this sadistic. You really went all out with the level design on the last level :) There are some minor annoying things like getting inside walls occasionally, and falling off edges when standing too close. I really liked it though | ||
| Fleedom Flies | Awesome game, and perhaps the most awesome thing is the online scoreboard. Some of the ship patterns are clever and need thinking to get through. How sadistic of you to make it so you cannot save all your ships :) (only 8 can make it to the end if I'm not wrong). <br/> <br/>Since you're making a post-compo version, some suggestions: Add some kind of feature to restore lost ships, if you stay expanded for a time or if you pick up an item or something. other ship-maneuvers could be nice too, like keeping your fleet compact but splitting it in two. Maybe a button to cykle between different formations (standard->circular->spear formation, etc) | ||
| A thing! | Insane and insanely fun for a game-masochist like me. Took around ten tries to beat, and I doubt I could beat it twice in a row. Luck with the sonic rings was kind of needed :) Make this a full game! Remember to make this the last boss or something though :P | ||
| The Dark at the End of the Tunnel | It was quite fun, but hard. I spotted a number of bugs, one of them was that I needed to refresh the page after dying to play again (firefox in ubuntu). The oddest bug was when suddenly, the guy fell away from his shadow, down from the screen! I thought at first this was some strange trap, but the guy kept moving down after leaving the screen while the shadow remained where he had stood. | ||
| The Growth | It was confusing at first, and I didn't think it was too clear what I was supposed to do. I figured it out though, and beat all the levels. My biggest complaint would be that it's a little slow building walls, and I'd appreciate a line-function or something. I think this game could be even cooler if you didn't have such pixley graphics, and instead made it so you can easier draw lines and stuff to make new walls. Also, it would be nice to have a function to tear down walls that you built by mistake. | ||
| ethergrind | Sorry for voting for the wrong entry at first :P. The game was nice, and it was more challenging than I thought from a first look. The power-ups were the coolest thing of the game I think, and the audio was great. One bad thing I guess would be that the powerups were just lying around in crowds, which I thought a little odd. | ||
| doomdoom | It's nice that you have randomized levels, which is a plus. It would be another plus if you had a few premade levels with increasing difficulty, since the random ones are pretty unbalanced. One complaint on this game would be that when the game is slowed down / laggy because the CPU can't handle it, it's really hard to play. It seems that the lava level increases in real time, while the jumping bar increases depending on the frame rate. This makes it really annoying to play when it's laggy. | ||
| Robo-Jimmy and the Bouncy Adventure of Doom | I like this kind of platformer game, so after understanding the concept and playing the first level I was happy... until I noticed that the game was pretty short. A few more levels would be nice with some different strategies. The animations and music we're nice details :) | ||
| Short Fuse 2: The Escape | A nice little platformer, sadly too short. I'd really like to see more levels and an online scoreboard. | ||
| Advance 2 – Aftermath | Really pretty game, and top music. Got a nice retro feeling. The gameplay isn't as good as it could be though. | ||
| Save the Sheep | Pretty fun, but I think the level and resolution does not need to be so big for it to be challenging, if you only use enough grey blocks. Making the sprites/tiles bigger could also allow for more high-res graphics. The graphics were nice, but a little bland. About the gameplay: I think that both distracting lava and pushing sheep is a little too much. Since pushing sheep resembles sokoban which is already a game, maybe you should make the sheep move automatically and make the player focus on directing the lava for a time. | ||
| Wall | I have now played it, after you changed the link. It's fun to finish a game for ludumdare, no matter how small, isn't it? :) It lacks difficulty, maybe you should add mines that freeze the player or something. Still, you managed to make a game with sounds, which is more than you can say about a lot of the games, including mine. |
