The cake is not a lie.

skalle

It was confusing at first, and I didn't think it was too clear what I was supposed to do. I figured it out though, and beat all the levels. My biggest complaint would be that it's a little slow building walls, and I'd appreciate a line-function or something. I think this game could be even cooler if you didn't have such pixley graphics, and instead made it so you can easier draw lines and stuff to make new walls. Also, it would be nice to have a function to tear down walls that you built by mistake.

hamburger

Hehe that was fun. It got really annoying at times when the drawing mechanic was too picky and I couldn't draw out my line, but otherwise it was a fun system to play around with.

Endurion

Great! This could live up with one or two more elements. The last stage is a bit tedious in the tight passages.

muku

Liked it, quite novel. Took me a while to figure out what I was supposed to do, but then the game was actually too easy, I think.

As others have said, the wall building controls are too finicky.

Enjoyed the narrative, took the game beyond its mere mechanics. Also liked how the supposed victory screen is actually another level, very clever.

Yay, cake!
Not very challenging, but quite enjoyable nonetheless. As mentioned by others, building walls is a bit too finicky.

Covenant

Controls were quirky... With better controls, the game would probably be more fun... interesting idea, though...

yoyo

Great idea and use of the theme, but drawing mechanic was tedious and there was very little challenge.

HybridMind

This was a rather enjoyable game. I like how it has elements of RTS, expansion games, as well as tower defense games. Very nice concept. I also appreciate the mission text between levels.. where you hear "the growth" speaking.. very funny stuff.

Levels 1-4 play really quick and then level 5 is a beast. Also, more feedback on how the "bad red circles" are hurting you would help a lot. I also didn't have a good sense of my energy intake / output.. yes I know you had the flickering number but a better UI representation giving the player easier to read feedback would help.

All in all great effort!

Yay, cake!

Had fun playing this. It's perhaps a bit too easy, but the narrative really adds to the game. It transforms it into something spooky and alien, something otherworldly. And it's you! =)

The game was a little unresponsive at times though, had trouble building stuff sometimes. Also seconding that being able to remove accedentally built walls would be nice.

I kind of wish the tiles were bigger so it wasn't such a work of precision to make the walls. Other than that, it's pretty neat. Liked the narrative!
