As others have pointed out, you cannot hit anything and you don't lose health. Now, according to the rules you can still release fixes to the game breaking bugs, so if it's a simple patch I'd consider doing just that. Also, when you are swarmed by enemies the camera seems to randomly jump all over the place.
@blednaya Sorry, was in the middle of uploading a fixed build (one with resolution options). It should work correctly now.
@almost thank you! There is not downside to holding the boost button, but you can't turn when you are stationary, so not boosting can be used for turning without moving as much. The map is randomized everytime (along with the size, positions of islands and enemies) so empty stretches of water do happen sometimes.
The exploration element is done pretty well, I like that you need to return to your fire from time to time to not freeze. Now, besides a couple of points it was really hard to see where I was going. One thing - the fire sound effect seems to play with the same volume regardless of your distance to it, it confused me and I thought I was closer to the fire than I actually was. Love the mood/aesthetics!
The game didn't play for me on Chrome (I saw the sun and vial icons, heard the music but the screen was black), on Firefox it launched correctly. Whenever I try to suck the blood of a defeated enemy the game freezes and you can't do anything.
As a big Binding of Isaac fan I very enjoyed the gameplay of your game. One thing that would help a lot are some animations/visual effect whenever you hit an enemy or get hit yourself (often i had no idea if my bullets were actually hitting or not). It would be nice if you could replenish your health somehow, as it is hard to progress the longer you play. And a small thing: the magician boss' bullets seem to have a very big hitbox, I got hit multiple times even though the bullets were nowhere near me.
Loved the humorous tone, the graphics, animations and sound effects are hilarous.
I don't really understand how the age works and how it affects the gameplay. Also, it's hard to know when you can buy stuff and when the round is happening (maybe a message on the screen "Buy now" or sth would be nice). For the rules of the game you can just write them out in the description, will be much easier to figue out for the players :)
