Hieroglyph by springogeek 2016-09-01T09:00:00
Thanks so much. I considered adding a countdown. I'm not sure exactly how much time the player should have to complete it.

Thanks for the comments :) I think the movement would have seemed better if it had been in the pokemon style, where the room moves, not the character.
Yeah, I'm not entirely happy with my use of buttons here. Watching a friend play it today made that very evident.
Sadly, the teapot does nothing except look pretty. It resulted from a joking conversation with a friend, and it fit the theme. The vault protects the teapot :P
Unfortunately i ran out of time to really flesh out the story, so I've mostly left it to the player to make up their own ideas of what happened. Thanks for trying it though :)
Great graphics, sound and I loved the dialogue. Small, but entertaining :)
I like the concept behind this. Once I figured out that I was summoning creatures using items, and that walking around restores HP, I started to really enjoy it. Unfortunately I got a runtime error when i bought the sword, so I don't know how I would have done. But very slick game play, since you say you had no time :)
That 'hit' noise is quite uncomfortable unfortunately.
That's a really slick game. The controls are intuitive, the graphics are really clear.
I couldn't figure out what the second guy's wife liked either, but I enjoyed it all the same. I'd love to see this taken further.
Really great, I love the graphical effects and all the polish
Seriously addictive! Made it to $1424 in the end. I'd have liked being able to just overwrite a tile without needing to cycle the menu. I agree that holding and moving would have been beneficial. Nice job!
