Cool Hat Mr. Hat by bitslap 2017-12-06T05:20:56Z
Feels really nice, especially when you get a good chain of bouncing between an enemy and the ? box. The graphics, audio, and feedback remind me a lot like Downwell. What it really needs next is music.

SPOILERS:

Shot for assuming that I, an imperialist pigdog, could assume to win Best Korean card game. 10/10 would be executed again.
I haven't played many snake games but did enjoy this one even though I couldn't get past the 3rd level.
Nice stuff: * Hue-shifting graphics are really nice and contribute to the difficulty
Stuff that can be improved: * Maybe too much random chance vs skill when it comes to locating the exit point? (or maybe I'm just bad) * Adjusting computer audio crashes the game for some reason.
'Still too violent will make my DARLING SON Christopher become a PHYSCHO DRUG KILLER or a CRIMINAL FELON ban this game now!!' - Moms Against Violent Computer Games
Seriously enjoyed the TV aesthetic, reminds me a lot of Fallout's Pipboy.
Good stuff: * The music, the atmosphere, all very calming and peaceful even when the game gets more hectic * The writing, dropping some somber life truths at the the beginning. * Fleshed out menus * Can skip the intro after the first time.
Stuff that could be improved: * Graphics don't scale well to full-screen 1080p * Maybe do infinite travel in any direction rather than staying within a fixed box? Could make the game playable for longer periods.
Thanks @towerhufham I had a slider for starting troops count and left it out of the final build by accident ¯\\_(ツ )_/¯
Thank you @arthur-amorim !
Thanks @thomas-lean the tempo-matchup was a happy accident I'm glad I kept around.
Ooh real-time ratios could be fun @sempiternal. Maybe the bar can show how many of your troops you killed yourself too for maximum trashtalk material!
Custom maps do sound fun, glad you liked it @bobo-games !
Hope you enjoyed playing it with someone @manbeardgames. I'm super torn between having smart formations and the fun of watching 40-ish troops explode in the first few seconds of a 100 v 100 battle. The starting positions are mirrored now to be equally unfair to everyone.
@fluffi good idea, I've added some slight random pitching to the new version until I have time to create new shot sounds!
@uchiro once I get controller support running it should be easier to control aim. In the meantime I'll try out your suggestions, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it @andrew-brotherton!
Thanks for all the great feedback everyone. Be sure to check out the latest version, available on itch.io!

I can't seem to beat this game on my computer or in real life, well done.
Stuff that's good now: * Definitely longest I've ever played a typing game, strangely addictive. * Having duplicate letters tripped me up several times, making me have to focus harder.
Stuff that could be improved: * Takes too long to get enough money for even one upgrade * Tesla upgrade causes more problems than it solves, I type out a sequence of letters but sometimes the Tesla already typed one.
