LD42 — Running out of space

Out of Inventory Space! by aaranos 2018-08-13T04:53:57Z

Like the blocky style you have going. The music is super relaxing and I have it on even when writing this . The humor is really my style of humor. I kind of wish there was more variety with the encounters and items but I can understand the time constraint makes that really hard. Could use multiplayer support but that's very rarely possible within a game jam. Overall a really nice experience

Love the unique twist to the theme. Graphics are nice to look at and sound doesn't make you turn off the speakers so well done on that front as well. Having to spam the mouse to continue playing is a tad of an annoyance. It might help if you could buy 5 jumps instead of one for 200 carrots or even have a passive carrot generator. Kind of like those clicker games.

Nice take on the theme. Graphics were good. The game is a tad too hard though. It could help if the aliens weren't 100% accurate. Still a good entry

The music is now stuck on my head for the rest of the day. Annoyingly catchy tune. Overall a fun experience

Love the idea. Graphics and sound also fit well together and it fits really well to the theme. I absolutely loved the weird S piece that everyone has drawn at some point in their life.

@thygrrr Thanks for catching that. It's fixed now.

@dsthedragon Thanks. I wish I had had like 6 more hours to polish the user experience. For example I wanted to make the blocks actually shift visually and if you try to push the row the player is on I wanted to make it flash red to give a better feedback for the player.

@brettschiff Heh, thanks, I like it a lot myself. It's actually made with that sound effect generator that was linked in the rules page.
