You Hate Mail by xbcw 2023-05-02T23:57:43Z

Great game! Starts out slow and easy but as you gain "wanted stars" from the postoffice it gets more and more hectic as you frantically try to stop the onslaught of envelopes. Other people want to place their traps themselves, but I think past the early-game you don't have the time to do that, so I'm happy the way it is handled :)

Eerie music fits to the dark atmosphere of flying a drone through caves. The darkness sometimes makes it hard to distinguish what is background and what is collision hazard / wall. Maybe adding a parallax effect could help with that. From what I gather, the drone has 3 lives (you die at the third collision) indicated by tiny fires on the drone?

The Holy Scanner by Teun de Vries 2023-05-02T12:57:50Z

I love blasting away at the foul creatures that lurk in the dark (especially the bats!). The music is very fitting and thematic for the fast-paced, shooting-lasers-everywhere playstyle. Sometimes the menu opens while you're still firing and you purchase something random. I think there needs to be a short delay there. Personally I would have liked a more "pew" instead of "beep" for the scanner, but the sound is realistic. Great Game!

Very wholesome vibe. Love it!

I like the combination of platforming and balancing the box. The music really adds to the tension of trying to stay on a board 10 ft. in the air while the time is ticking away. The "Jump" Button can be used to try and keep the box from falling of, which I like a lot. When combined with the "Move" keys, it makes me as the player balance my key presses while the box is balncing. What I didn't like at some points was the camera movement: The camera follows the movement of the Box keeping it in the center of the screen, but because the movement directions are coupled to the view, if the camera pans, pressing the same key will move the Box in a different direction. I also noticed at some point that the camera can be moved with the mouse, but the sensitivity is too high (even for the lowest DPI setting on my mouse), causing the camera to flail uncontrollably.

Feathered Dispatch by Cody Holt 2023-05-02T23:41:17Z

I feel like I don't understand this game... I get a message "X miles West of A and Y miles North of B". I measure X miles to the left of A, creating a mental vertical line there. Then I measure Y miles above B and create a horizontal mental line there. Where the two lines meet, should be the destination. I send a pidgeon there, it drops a letter into the void and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? (Since the game appears to be working for everyone else I don't want to rate it based on this...)

You Shall Not Deliver. by makuck95 2023-05-02T22:53:01Z

Great to have a tutorial (most games here just tell you the controls). Although the game itself is very challenging.

I think this game could use a tutorial level that explains how to build a basic setup. By taking the time to read the (admittedly overwhelming) key bindings, you also get there eventually but separating that info into smaller pieces would help.

A very polished game that I find very relaxing to play (I could probably keep playing for hours). I found the UI very intuitive, especially with the tooltips. For the controls I would have maybe labeled [Left Mouse] as "Click Button/Drag-and-drop" to clarify.

Also I have noticed there is a bug with the parcels snapping to the grid: When placing stuff on the back bumper it's not in the truck so gets left behind. If there is only one row of space, a two-wide parcel cannot be place there, however by letting it go at the right position between bumper and last row, it will sometimes snap to the position of being half inside the truck. The parcel doesn't count towards income, but it messes up the allignment of all the other parcels, making the placement of subsequent parcels look a bit wonky. This doesn't really affect my rating of the game (I still find it adorable), just wanted to let you know :)
