really funny and nicely done. Don't know how but got a date on first try by simply putting whatever "down" is, and hearts. A downside is that for the "note" to be successfully pressed, is to press the key when the heart/square is on the right of the "button"(?).
as @harusame said, you need to wait half a second or so between each keypress. but the game is not (too) "fast-paced" so it's not much of a nuisance. good job!
the art is beautiful. And as everybody else, I can't wait to try more contents. <3 The boss is too easy, I just was "inside" him and smashed my space bar (but it's a jam, so you are forgiven ^^).
nice visual indeed. easy controls and "funny" graphics. I just had a hard time finding that you need to click on "enter". Maybe giving this field the focus on start or writing something more explicit like "type here" could help.
@spthiel thanks for the comments. I'm aware of that, it was my first jam and I had little time (made in less than 6 hours), so I made things "quick and dirty". I will eventually redo the game from the ground up with real musics and rhythm (for now, the notes are just randomly spawned), better graphics/menus, highscores, etc.

First game I see that uses ESDF and not non-portable WASD. good job on that. I found the "story driven" part to be set back (and that you don't have time to read text when there are gazillions of B abound you). Yet, it's a nice Nuclear Throne demake.
