At first it seemed like it worked under wine, but none of the slime was colored, so I guess not. Too bad, seems interesting.
Linux build doesn't seem to do anything beyond locating joysticks. However, the Windows version seems to work under wine. (I haven't tried it beyond the start screen, yet.)

Minor update to the source code release so it builds properly. No changes to the game itself, only the build system and README.
I fixed a minor bug that caused some off screen squirrels to not despawn. That may have caused the lockup. (But I've got no evidence either way.) There shouldn't have been any change to the visible game behavior. (I also didn't update the source yet...)
In game instructions was one of the planned features that didn't get finished in time. (There were several...)
Very hard, but a solid effort.
At first it seems really hard to get anything done, especially if your population gets reduced to one by plague early on. It's a little unclear exactly how population growth works. Overall, pretty good.
The "web" link doesn't actually point at a web version of the game (as far as I can tell), which it is supposed to.
Debian testing only has Bullet Physics 2.82.7 and I'm not going to unstable, so I can't run this.
So, I've found two bugs in the game so far. Firstly, the arrow (or A/D) keys cause problems when used on the title or end screens (they were implemented when only the main room existed). Secondly, if you acquire an item and leave the screen before it finishes, the wrong things might disappear. Although, they can still be clicked on. (Disappearing things were hacked in at the last moment and didn't get enough testing.)
Seems to be too buggy to play.
