I love the art! Some kind of information about the stats of chickens vs peasants vs knights would have been appreciated. As it was it felt like I didn't have the information required to make intelligent or impactful decisions, soI felt like I was mostly just trying different combinations in different towns until I won one of them. The music was nice, but it restarting whenever you entered a new screen meant I had to sit and wait in order to hear anything other than the opening piano bit.

Really great concept! If you wanted to move forward with it you could add more movement mechanics (which of course would degrade with gold). And possibly the ability to drop some of your gold in order to regain mobility.

Nice platformer! Starting out of the gate with one or two shorter levels (but still levels with saws/other hazards) would have been nice, that way players can acclimate to the game's physics while still making some incremental progress/changing up the scenery. EDIT: Also introducing the wall jump in a safer space, if I hadn't seen you do it in the clip I wouldn't have thought I could wall jump far enough to clear that gap after the first several times I failed.

Try showing rather than telling, such as an enemy walking into spikes and dying instead of telling the player spikes are dangerous, or placing low-health turrets such that a player walking directly to the right will accidentally cause them to shoot and kill each other instead of telling the player that will happen.
