Great work! Pretty addicting. I like the art style and the retro feel of the game. As Natman said, the collisions were a bit off, and I took damage when it seemed that I didn't hit the enemy.

Simple and quite fun game. The only problem I have with it is the digging controls. You should automatically dig when holding the key "down."
