@sqqqwer I'm glad you appreciated my game. Honestly, it was the first time ever I tried to produce some even basic music. I googled how to do ambient and played with notes and FXs.

Got to the ending in the roof, even though at some point I got myself lost and couldn't see anything at all! XD Very atmospheric.

Really moody and atmospheric project! The dynamic lighting in the dark corridors creates such a lonely, tense vibe, and the premise about relics that outstayed their intended lifetime is a really cool, poetic take on Old Tech. Great pacing and mood for a solo Compo! Left full ratings across the board! If you have a minute later to check out more jam projects, we’d love if you took a look at our game Meow Bomb as well. Best of luck with the jam!

@notnasiul Thanks! In initial version it was even more dark, but I decided to add more lighting sources.

@nursultan Thank you. I'm kinda disappointed in this project, because it can't give you anything besides vibes, but I really happy to hear you enjoyed it. Generally, I prefer to check only online project, for obvious reasons, but I will play your game. Just a little later.

I like the visual style and vibes. The visuals reminded me of Loaded for PS1. The static feedback for enemy proximity was a good idea with how dark the game is. Even though I couldn't see things sometimes, I still felt confident knowing how in danger I was because of the static. The music is awesome. Very sombre and melodic. I want to just play it on a loop while I work on things. Great work.

This could have been much more powerful if the enemies were invisible and you had to navigate only by the gauge. For a story-driven game, there was very little story. Overall, the game has positive vibes; I like the atmosphere and lore.

Thank you for playing my game!

@the3rdhunter, you can take this tracks directly from the assets. https://github.com/forgotten-aquilon/ProjectLeibowitz/tree/main/Assets/Audio/Music

@denissobolev Fully invisible enemies were in the first iteration of the game, but I ditched it because it was frustrating in a very non-fun way. Maybe proper 3D audio would make it bearable.

That's a good looking and atmospheric entry! It seems somewhat glitchy though. I spent a lot of time walking in the pitch dark, and the flickering lights seemed glitchy. After opening about 5 doors the game got stuck, I couldn't move anymore.

the atmosphere here is really strong. the dynamic lighting in the dark corridors creates a genuinely lonely and tense vibe. the music is also fantastic - very sombre and melodic.

my main issue was that it was sometimes too dark to see where i was going. i got lost a couple of times just walking around in the pitch black. maybe adding a tiny bit more ambient light, or making the flashlight a bit wider, would help with navigation without ruining the mood.

great job!

I appreciated the Tesseract nets (I assume they were save points, but I played cautiously enough I didn't die). Was the mandelbulb supposed to be more detailed than a pink blob?

Thank you for playing!

@loveapplegames I didn't catch this issue myself. Will look more into this.

@chingiskhan glad you enjoyed my music.

@tesseract well, game is rendered in low-res for pixelization effect + I encountered issues with web-build. It was the best thing I could pull in a limited time.

Really liked the atmosphere and appreciated how the camera and level design made it clear where to go. Also love A. G. Cook but had never seen that particular video before. I was pleasantly surprised that getting spotted isn't an instant fail-state and instead starts a chase. Great execution of the theme!
