Lets do this team!
Interesting game, cool storytellig and this decision events also very cool
I really enjoyed the mechanics and gameplay! I didn’t expect the game to be this fun, and it was engaging enough to make me play it twice. The graphics could use a bit of polishing, but for something made in such a short amount of time, it was awesome!
Very unique gameplay loop! The scavenging sections felt a little slow, but I enjoyed the text based adventure part of the game. Great work!
Thanks for playing! If a lot of the mechanics seem half-baked, its because they are. It really came down to the wire, and we bit off a little bit more than we could chew. As a result, the scavenging section was supposed to be quite a bit different, we just hit a point where it became "Ok, just make this function, and we'll add that if we have time".
A bit confusing of a game, but the levels with cars are fun.
very cute drawing. Nice SFX. But a little confusing what all the different parts you find are for. Very unbalanced and not finnished but very cute and running! cheers
The atmosphere is fire
Very ambitious but it plays really well. Honestly, if you compressed the audio, and made the art a bit blurry, you would have 100% fooled me into thinking that it was a flash game. I wouldn't mind it looking like one. The gameplay really reminds me of old fallout games combined with 60 Seconds and The Last Stand 2. Could have been a bit harder and it could have had more qol features but overall, this is really good! This is a solid entry.
btw, I honestly think that having a flash game aesthetic could work for this game. Oh and the music was great!
Having to reach the ship before it leaves gives the scavenging premise a clear deadline. I like the contrast between choosing a route on the map and defending the car in an ambush. A clearer explanation of what the recovered parts are for could help tie those sections together.
If you have a moment, I'd appreciate a rating on my latest game, [Robot Workshop](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/60/trashfight).
Really unique, I love the music. Great job!
Loved the music! The text-based parts were overall enjoyable, and I usually gravitated towards the "question mark" events just because I looked forward to the encounters. That said, the gameplay for the digging parts was a little lacking, as it felt that I usually could not hit every settlement and it felt like there was no strategy to improve my gains there. Mostly just point and click. Though I did especially love the music in those parts! Good stuff :)
very interesting
:) This was fun! I enjoyed how easy it was to make enough progress that I really wanted to keep going and explore the next area. The ambushes were fun. A bit slow between incoming trucks though. I really liked all the systmes! There is a lot in this!
This is a badass game! Vehicular combat, scavenging ruins, cool desert trader with a gas mask... it has it all! The only problem is that it never seemed to end, which is probably good for survival but less good in terms of a satisfying challenge. Nonetheless, it was an absolute joy to witness all the fun encounters, and ponder on the flavor profile of the pingas fruit. I got to max level 11 until I surrendered to scary bandits and gave up.
