Perfect immersion. It's silent, with only the sound of footsteps. It could use a UI, of course, but that's not a problem. The jumpscare scared the hell out of me!

Just an FYI, we were so rushed at the end we didn't add a win condition XD

I'm out of comission for the next few days but would like to patch it to add one.

I am such a scaredy cat with Horror games and this triggered that same dread in me when playing. You've done a great job making it feel scary even when you can't see the monster. I'd love to play it again after you patch in the ending so feel free to @ me.

I really like this mix of 2D and 3D.

the artstyle reminded me of dont starve! very well made game, wish you had time to finish it

I really like this 2.5D perspective, and it would be even better with a UI.

Amazing artstyle and scene!Love it!

Really cool game, love the graphics and the screamer works well. But I think it's missing some feedbacks, for the stamina remaining and to see how many page we have collected and how many are still left.

Great atmosphere. Loved the graphics!

В момент первой встречи с чудовищем я ощутил что эта игра достойная, хоть на первый взгляд мне показалось иное. Ставлю 8/10 Слендерменов

LOL

It really looks like Slenderman.

A stamina meter and maybe a page counter would be interesting.

I liked the effect of making the 2D trees rotate in the 3D environment. Super Mario 64 did that too.

A tip about 3D stereo sound: Don't put everything on one side (footsteps on one side and crickets on the other). Always leave some of the sound on the other side. If we think we're in an empty forest, the sounds come from all sides because you hear the source of the sound and the reverberation of the environment. It makes it more immersive.

Congratulations.

At first it was scary, but for some reason the creature tried to hide in a corner when I approached. Maybe the monster is not what it seems?

I really like the graphic and the darkness of creating the atmosphere. However, the atmosphere seems to be too dark that I can not see the environment clearly. I know this may be the design that you can only use the flash light to see it clearly. But I don't think this is a clever desgin.

Love the atmosphere! I also like that the monster actually backed away when I first noticed it, just a shadowy shape at the edge of the light. It made it all the more startling when it started charging towards me! As others have mentioned, a page counter or win condition would be awesome! Nice work!

ciphereo 2025-10-24 06:27

A very cool atmosphere, the protagonist is very cute, and the immersion effect is very strong. Nice work!

eaglez 2025-10-24 08:21

I was tense the whole game, really good athmosphere!
