I liked it but I would have liked faster cooldowns on the L button attack. and the move with the R button is too slow to respond to be useful. I'm a fan of this genre though and had fun playing it ;)

Just found that the web build doesn't include the obstacle boxes with extra money that spawn on the floor and can be broken... It must be working in the win build. As well as the png export in the map editor

Fun game! I managed to cheese the game by staying under the enemies constantly (I really like their designs). Also the ending is so sad why would he do that? π’
The Main Menu is Fire. As for the game I liked it, nice beat em up, really good theme fit.
Graphics are clearly the highlight of this one, strongly followed by the atmosphere and audio. Shame the final level didn't have an ending, felt kinda weird to just bump into a collider and that's it. While punching you could spam movement keys and the hit could hit a single target twice.
Great job with art and audio! Clicking got old after a while but I managed to get to the ending. π
There's a lot of attention to details: the background really gives the vibe of a dorm corridor with walls colored like a cigarette. The characters are distinct and memorable too.
Would be cool if there were more game mechanics though, maybe picking up random objects from the ground and throwing them. Or at least enemies coming from behind sometimes?

A really good entry, feels pretty complete - the audio, graphics, intro and ending are all there. The graphics do feel unique and the gameplay mechanic is done well.
I got to the ending, but I did it mostly by cheesing. If I stayed at the same level as opponents, that probably wouldn't be possible. I think it's a common problem with beat'em-ups, just difficult to fine-tune the enemy behavior, hit range etc.

I really appreciate having to play a beat em up. Regarding the story, I think it's also a nice touch not having to buy an upgrade. The enemies just felt a bit too bullet-spongy, so it might be helpful if there would also be a healthbar for the enemies (at the least the last one being hit).
Good jam game for sure. Graphic, music and audio all had a high level of polish. My main complaint was on the difficulty. The damage coming from the enemies didn't feel consistent and it sometimes felts like they had an unfair advantage on my guy, being fast overall. Also it would be nice to get a little more feedback when enemies were stunned or couldn't attack back straight away.

This is so smooth, I do wish there was a bit more to combats cause it already felt great to play with just punches. Maybe a block and a kick. Great art and soundtrack.
One of the most fun games I've played so far! The music is the thing that stood out the most to me but I also really liked the art and gameplay. I think the only thing that would improve it would be some variation in attacks. Either by incoprorating kicking or jump attacks or by picking up weapons like knuckle dusters? Either way great game : )
Crazy that there is also a map gen. Really cool gameplay overall. Would be nice to have some sort of combos and kicks. The enemies could also have some variety in their patterns, as long as it was 1v1 or 2v1 it was manageable to kick their ass. I also liked the upgrade system which was bound to the money you punched out of the guys. Making it so that you dont want to skip them. 25.png
Cool art, I love the music! I find the game very hard :sweat_smile: It's a little better after getting some upgrade, but I struggled a lot on the beginning

I really loved this game! I love traditional Konami-style Beat 'Em Ups, like TMNT Arcade, Simpsons Arcade, and Streets of Rage (last one being Sega). And it's for the sick sister. Equally love that. Also, got the good music going for it. These types of games aren't easy to create. I gave 5/5s across the board. =)
Cool game, I really liked the music and the story, wasn't too hard for me. Though for some reason I wasn't able to get past floor 5, I would press E at the stairs but it wouldn't do anything. I played on the Ludum dare page. 2025-10-19 17 52 46.png
