nice merge of sokoban and snare, really interesting and new concept!

Cool game!! Took me a while to understand the character switching; and it'd be good if we can have an '1 step reverse' button (on top of the reset). Level design is goooood!! Great work!!

Игра забавная, хоть и немного резка

lucy-z 2024-10-08 13:42

I love your art style and the cutscenes. But this type of game is really difficult for me I couldn't clear the level, and I really wish there was a button to step back. Overall, this is still a very interesting game, and I really enjoy it.

Interesting concept as well as fun game play. Level design was outstanding to say the least. Very challenging. I look forward to your future works.

The color is very harmonious, and the level design is great!

cathelaleph 2024-10-09 14:49

I really love the clean visual style and the simple, easy-to-pick-up gameplay! The level design is a real test of intelligence.

Great puzzle design! Many of them really made me think. It's a little bit painful to complete them without an undo button, but the levels are small enough.

Great work with the art too! Tiny aliens are really cute and I love the color palette and scene transitions.

Very neat puzzle game, I really enjoyed some of the levels, you have some clever level design where you have to turn around the same islands a few times, it was really cool.

The game really lack a "undo" button to go back one step back, restarting from the beginning every time I get stuck can be frustrating, I am more of an experimenter then a planner in that kind of Sokoban like games. I like to try think and see if they work in a tactile way before having to think and plan.

I also had some trouble reading this text: Untitled.png

Don't what? :)

But you did great, it was super fun to play your game and your design are really cute.

It's a very nice take on sokoban-like puzzle games. If you would add undo (step back), hold to move and ability to rebind controls (or at least dupe WASD with arrow keys), it would be a much more pleasant experience. However even without those this is a very neat and smart puzzle. Takes some time to understand mechanics and how it is different from sokoban, but once you do -- it becomes really fun. Good job! :)

I'm absolutely stumped on the level with the 2 sigarets and the 6 and 5. I feel like I have tried every single possible route, and with no success. Anyway, it's a nice variant on the sokoban genre, and the horn mechanic is clever. It's unfortunate you used this common Kevin MacLeod music. There's plenty of music to use on websites like Newgrounds (double check the license) that will not only sound new, but will also fit better with the theme of your game. The sound effect when moving is very low quality. This is *the* sound of your game, so it should have extra priority in that it sounds good. In your sprites you have animations that they move up and down, but instead of doing that in your animation, you could also have done it programmatically. That way the movement would be smooth, and your game overall would look more clean, I think. Nice game!

I beat it, buuuuuuuut damn. How'd you make these level designs? They're legit puzzles and get tough, which is impressive. Decent game with a cool spin that used the theme well. Nice graphics and mood too, nice work you 2.

It's a nice puzzle game. The level design was great and was actually good part of the game.

Thank you for your support! We are so happy that you enjoy the levels! I am now working on the undo. It's a bit hard for me since I'm not very familiar with coding and Gamemaker, but I think I have find a approach. @hangovergames @lucy-z @yanranranyan @sig00d @yufan-lu @wzjo @cathelaleph @woona @0x0961h @beeb-gamecodecompany @halki

@togis Thank you! It's "Don't forget me!" there.:D Try to have a little tutorial there that you need to pick up all your buddies to complete the level.

@sheepolution Thank you so much for your advice on sound and music! About the level with the 2 sigarets and the 6 and 5, there are serveral solutions, and the key point is when you enter the right side of the level, try to make the end of the team to be at a good position and then reverse the team. Hope this will help you make through!

Damn that is some impressive puzzle-level-creation skills you have here! I played all the way till the end. That last level was brutal haha

Some feedback: - I had idea how many aliens I started each level with. Thinking about it now... Did each level start with the amount I ended up with last level? - make numbers face right side up for the movable pieces (6 and 9 are confusing now) - The R key is right next to the E key. Sometimes I would reset the level by mistake - A level indicator would have been nice. That way LD players have an expectation about how far along they are - ~~undo button would have been great~~ I now see that there has been an update, where Z is undo

The graphics are cute and I love the color pallet!

Very clever puzzle game! You've taken a fairly simple premise and managed to craft some fiendishly difficult puzzles with it. Great job!

nbumgardner 2024-10-23 02:36

Cute and I like the unlocked mechanics. Version 1.1 slowed down to about half movement speed, but the undo and restart buttons were always instant speed, which was helpful.

emmagsmith 2024-10-24 04:23

The puzzles are fun! I would like to switch characters (I couldn't figure it out) because I kept getting stuck but I love the idea and the creatures are adorable!
