I like the visual idea. I gained energy for a little while, but nothing happened. Is there a win condition?
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD56 → Dust in a ray of sunshine

I don't really get it, on what the ball are bouncing ? they sometimes seem to just randomly bounce
Pretty curious idea, but lack of polishing. Good enough for the first entry!
@sudocoffee Yes, you can win the game, you need to gain more energy for this. The display will be in the form of a more yellow background. It was necessary to make the energy scale at the top left, as planned.
@dhim The balls fly away from dark places in the beam and from dust particles. The dust motes should have been made a little darker. With a set of energy, they will be better visible.
@custodi Thanks for the feedback
Interesting concept! π The visual style of the game is eye-catching and I like how the balls bounce off different objects. π The game offers a unique experience that could be improved to improve the gameplay. I would like to see clearer victory conditions to understand how to achieve the goal. Regardless, great job! π
@sviborg Thank you, for your feedback, it's very nice to hear that.
I like the mechanic but it's hard to tell what the goal is. Cool game!
very chaotic
i like the idea of ββthis visual style, you should work on it better and make the elements more readable! Too bad there are no sounds, if the particles collided with each other with a funny sound, it would be much more fun to do :)
i like the graphic theme of the game, it's minimalistic but still pretty. Nice little game !
couldnt figure out how to launch π
Simple but really nice graphics, it's quite cool, congrats!
@dragonmain I wanted to achieve the effect of chaotically flying dust in a ray of sunlight
@game-dynasty Thanks for the feedback, very helpful comments
@pyrocks Thanks for the feedback!
@leothecoo1 When two flying balls collide, energy is released that charges the ship. It takes several collisions before the ship is fully charged. You can see how charged the ship is by the yellowing of the background.
@raivk Thanks for the feedback
@sabrina-palmer The goal is to gain energy from the impact of flying balls and fly away on the ship. Thanks for the feedback.
Some nice ideas in here, but more attention to detail is needed to make the mechanics understandable! The win condition is not clear - I would make sure that it's clearly stated in the intro how you win the game. The yellowing of the background is a bit too subtle :) Make sure that you have time to playtest before you release! Good job overall!
Very cool unexpected graphics.
There is some work to be done. At first it seems that the balls will be cast randomly, but there are colliders there, they need to be made more readable. And you cant win the game, I think the player needs some kind of goal.
The art style, which feels like watercolor, is interesting! It was tricky to understand how it works at first, but once I got it the concept was really cool. Gj!
Interesting visual style. I had to double check the objective because I didn't understand what was going on at all... :D
Perhaps the balls could slow down faster. Now it gets little boring to just see losing all the energy while the balls are going and going.. The game started without actually clicking the play button.
Nice work!
The abstractness gives it a relaxing vibe. The mechanics are pretty simplistic but I didn't mind, it's fun to just watch the orbs bounce around.
