@prora: Right! I'll need to add a bit of an explanation to the description, sorry!
The things that are still there - which have "0 / X" above them - can be carried by that many units. You are supposed to put them where it says "Weight: 0 / 10". Send however many units are required there, once it is filled up, left-click the thing. Now it should be selected and you can move it around like a normal unit.
I should have made a visual distinction between the gates and the carryable things...
I liked the very idea of a puzzle in which you need to gradually gather friends. The only type I would rather do in 2D. This is due to the fact that sometimes the elements overlap. It was like that with pencils and an eraser. I was poking at the pencils, thinking they needed to be moved. Overall, a good game.
A simple and interesting game. Actually, at first, I didn't realize what the big white thing and the switch that required gravity to activate were. It wasn't until I gathered enough fairies to carry items and activate the switch that I realized the big white thing was a trash can, and the initial white stuff represented crumpled paper representing trash. Overall, it was quite imaginative.
Absolutely loved how this was presented, the camera zooms were a great touch. Enjoyed the gameplay, although perhaps another route or two to throw away the rubbish could have added to the experience.
Really enjoyed it! Not 100% sure what to do after opening the trash can, but I loved the feeling of escalation as I got more mites and the diorama presentation, which is really cute
Good game! It hits the theme in an inspiring way. BTW, I also have a jam work. If you can have a try and leave some suggestions, we will be very grateful! THX! )
Love it! The animations/cutscenes are much more than you usually see in 3d submissions. Besides an in-game explanation of the controls, it would have been nice to have some sound/music. Even some low-effort sound effects generated with online tools tend to improve the gameplay experience quite a bit.
In the beginning of the Jam I saw a few comments about how everyone would make a Pikmin clone. But this is the first game I've come across that is inspired by that game. Such a lovely entry! Beautifully crafted with the cute level design, creatures and the cinematics! Just the right amount of problem solving. I justed wish there were more levels. Amazing work, one of my favorites!
Managed to throw away some trash!
Anyway, this was awesome! I loved all the little cutscenes whenever you did something important, they really added to the experience! The premise here was great, and I liked the little dust mote, especially how they had different speeds (one of them kept getting left behind when carrying the crumpled paper, which was a bit annoying but also endearing). I didn't understand how carrying things worked until I re-read your description - I kept trying to just right click again after picking something up, only for the motes to drop it right back - but I can more than understand the lack of a proper tutorial due to the time limitation :) Overall, I really enjoyed it, amazing entry!
