Let me see what’s under this manhole cover? Oh—it's a cute little mouse! I really enjoy the gameplay of this game; it’s different from traditional box-pushing games. The fact that you grow larger after eating cheese, and the game ends if there isn’t enough space to accommodate your enlarged body, is really interesting!

Really well executed puzzle game! It got a bit too hard for me to finish all the levels but they seemed well designed! I really liked the mouse transformation element as it really forced you to think ahead.

Really innovative puzzle game! I'm stumped on Level 11, it seems provably impossible to me so I must be missing something. Have to say I totally underestimated this game at first as some of the solutions are really clever. Love the little musical breakdown that happens during the song :)

@poboy Sorry there's something wrong in Level 11, make it impossible to pass. Just skip this level!!

My brain hurts TwT. I loved seeing the mouse become chonk the first time XD. Hope level 11 gets fixed soon!

Nice take on the theme, nice puzzle design, cool graphics and music. I did about 10 puzzles, skipped 11 and couldn't get past 12 but that's on me for not being so smart ! Well done ! Could use a rewind button maybe ?

This was solid puzzle design! I'm always too nervous to try making a puzzle game for a jam, because I'm not confident I will be able to come up with enough challenging levels. Great job! I liked that it was more than just a block-pushing puzzle. The increase in size (and strength) required me to make more calculations. Very good job!! Look at this cute lil chunky mouse XD

Really cool! I had a lot of fun playing it and I liked the rules in the game that had to be considered (e.g. growing and what can be moved and how).

My brain ain't made for the riddles. But this game is very well-made. This is a great entry for LDJam, because the graphics and sounds are very entertaining, and I'm just very impressed, if somebody successfully does a puzzle game. Congratulations on a fine game. Also buff rat = funny

That was awesome. I like a good puzzle game and this was really well done. The main mechanic is interesting and the puzzles are well designed and there are a decent number of them. Too bad about level 11, I was stumped for a good while before I read it was impossible. Levels 12 and 15 are doable without pushing any crates which made me think I was missing something. An undo button would have been nice for those annoying times you trying to go too fast and hit the wrong button. Also a key bind for restart would have helped.

Puzzle games are hard in a jam and this is a great one, amazing work!

brainloaf-studio 2024-10-22 20:40

What a fun concept! I've always loved the idea of tile-based puzzlers where you change size (and even made one for LD51) so this was right up my alley. The art is charming and I love the animation when the player gets squished into too tight of a spot (poor guy...). Some more mechanics would definitely be cool but I totally understand the time constraints here. Really nice work!

Big chonk! Really cool that you could expand on the quite exhausted sokoban genre! Cute and funny too. And great puzzles, actually challenging! :rat: :cheese:
