A top down overworld game was an ambitious goal for a single game jam entry. I felt a bit like a bystander to the action of recruiting the Alcheminis' to my party during those fights, but the controls on the overworld were solid. Good job!
I walked around for a long time I could find any purple rocks. Was I doing something wrong?
I couldn't really figure out how to win. My creatures never attack the most important enemies and my healing creatures never heal the ones that need healing. However I think with better AI or a little more control you'd have a pretty solid game here.

Great game! I killed a bunch of rocks but didn't know what to do next. Also I couldn't figure out how to replace members of my team with new recruits. I wish the purple gems were way easier to find initially as I was just aimlessly walking around looking for something to do.
Congrats on the submission!
I liked the game and the art, and especially the creatures, but I didn't really know what any of them did! You did get a hint if you happen to recruit a guy, but I couldn't see a way to inspect my own party, and merging was unclear too! Still, very interesting concept, and I quite liked the map and all the creatures.

There were some invisible walls/bad hitboxes and the purple rocks could have been more obvious, since they were easy to overlook. It has some potential as a concept but It kinda lacks a little twist to the autobattler genre. Loved the alcheminis designs though :D

I like this interpretation of a creature collector with autobattling. The creature designs were very fun, and the merge mechanic is awesome! It's great how any two creatures can be combined. I just wish I could tell what the effect of the merge was (like by seeing the creature's resulting stats.)
For other people playing, you can find the final boss if you keep going north-east. However, I wasn't able to defeat him.
Super cool game, very nice job!
Cool game, I enjoyed it. A few little bugs (which is expected from gamejam) with collision and some mobs being hit outside of the play area.
