Liked intro, squid and enemies game art!
The game was fun, honestly the summoning attack might be a bit broken on a balance level but I had a real blast with it. You got a great variety of monsters in which is very impressive given the time frame. I do wish I had some UI to show me the cooldown on the summoning attack but other than that minor point really enjoyable! Great Work!

I would rather enjoy having less projectiles that do more damage, so it feels better to aim correctly and hit something, and so that melee feels more usefull.

I like a lot the different combat options and enemies variety! 5/5 on humor because of the credits, I almost shit myself.

The game left me with somewhat mixed feelings. The idea itself is cool, but I would have liked to see some character progression and health bars for enemies, or at least an indication of damage, because it's unclear how much each attack deals and which tactics are best to choose. The spawn attack seems especially unclear.
Wow! I love the being summed interpretation of the theme, but this combat system is simple yet highly effective! The different combinations of enemies require you to wisely use the right abilities, and I've found that careful movement allows for some really cool duels with some of the ranged enemies. The bossfight was a great finale to, really fun game!

The firezone mecanic is good
I dont know what the Ice monsters do
I enjoyed the pixel art and some of the details like the bones and stuff in the walls. The menu and credits screens are a bit bare, but I imagine you spent that time on making the actual game. The summon attack didn't quite feel as impactful as it should to me, and I didn't know when it was off cooldown, so I was basically spamming it for max effect. The enemy AI was pretty easy to get stuck behind a wall and just wail on em with melee or summon attacks, so I didn't feel any danger except for the fire ball guys. I enjoyed reading all the credits text lol. Good job.
Fun game! Reminds me of one of my/our own entries. Dodge rolling feels great! The gun function feels a little week compared to the melee option. It's fun to kite the Yeti's though, adds a sense of tension that the other enemies don't have as much (which they make up for in having to dodge). Fun entry!
I'm sure you noticed but your controls could use some polish, The big one was when you right click while moving you get stuck going in a direction (I think melee fixes it?). I'd also recommend lowering the enemy tracking, or at least switch it up based on the enemy. Though ADAD strafing wrecks those flame boys. Fun concept and funny turnaround on the summoners. Reminds me of Nuclear Throne :)

In my first run I totaly forgot that rolling was a thing, and I only used the distance and invocation attacks. But after reading the comments I tried a second time using the melee attack and it's so powerful! Almost no need to use the shot, except for the yeti...
Also, some way to see the enemies life and attacks damages would be great.
But good game anyway, it was fun (and the lil' squid is cute ^^).

Fun game. It's quite challenging to get to the end. There are some interesting combat mechanics. The graphics are beautiful, and the gameplay works well.

I really enjoyed it! There's just something about a top down with a solid roll! I love the art, very cute little main character, and I really appreciate the care that went into the enemies. With their different sprites, movement, attacks, and the death animations were a nice touch.
A couple times I had enemies (mainly the sprinting yeti) get stuck in corners, but it was rare. I think it might nice to have a little more feedback when getting hit, even just more prominent health bar could help communicate the damage you are taking. And it kinda of felt like the summoning aspect was just a long range spell. But the theme component was there.
But you guys did a great job! It's a fun game start to end, perfect length for a jam imo!
Good game! I had a nice time playing it:) My favourite attack is the spawn attack. Perhaps it would be nice to see some lifebar over enemies to see how many hit points have they left. I like the graphics especially design of the characters! Animations are also well done. The only thing I would suggest is to find a bit different music. Great job!!!
