Took me a bit to figure out how to play. You might want to consider a tutorial or like a quick animation on showing how the spells work, the explanation it kind of confusing :)
I enjoyed the spells once I figured them out. The dash feels very nice as well.
I don't like the aiming though. I believe that it's your biggest flaw. Maybe you could aim with your mouse instead and you could change the spells keys so that you can make spells, move and aim with the courser. It definitely needs to be improved somehow.
Audio could've been nice as well :)
I hope you don't find my criticism too negative. I think that you have an amazing game with great visuals, mood and a quite interesting and fun spell system.
I hope you continue to make great games, keep it up!

Well made game. Interesting controls. i could see a this being much easier to play with a gamepad. great use of lighting. First installed game the actually exits, so thats nice to see, thank you for that. I had fun playing your game.
A nice idea that unfortunately lacks in depth. I didn't figure out right away the gameplay, but it was even more satisfying to understand how it worked imo. Too bad that most of the displayed mechanics aren't really useful and that there are so few enemies. Still a cool game idea tho!

Its hard to navigate trought UI, but I love the power punch mechanics, it would make it a lot better if you would deal some damage with it (mechanic when you press shift).

Is the web build on itch up to date? I could see two abilities but appeared trapped in the spawn area - I see people in the comments mentioning a dash ability that has a big "not implemented" label covering it

Neat Game, With a cool idea. But the keyboard movement does not work so well. Mouse or Controler Movement would be nicer. Casting with key combinations is cool. The look is also quite nice. And the chosen Font is very good. :P Some sound would have been nice. I think with gamepad or mouse and faster enemies and movement this would be really really cool fighting game. Nice Job!

I tried all the spells. Not a single ghost ever appeared. Apparently they were scared of my skills! xD

Itch browser version don't work sorry ! Trying to figure out why !
EDIT : It's back and working
Cool idea, but the controls are pretty clunky. The third ability never worked for me for some reason. Don't know if it was intended, but every once in a while the fireball just wouldn't fire, which can be frustrating. Controls were nice and responsive though, and the idea is solid! Good work!
Definitely a great start, however the controls are a little unintuitive at first - Once I figured them out I was able to fight the monsters, but never really found them a threat.
The dash is fun to use and it's nice that the enemies can also use the dash, forcing you to give them a wide berth and can catch you off-guard.
Good basis for expansion.
The spell system is really nice. Mapped to a controller I think it would be way easier to pop off specific spells under pressure, and even easier to remember the recipes needed for them. I like the rock-paper-scissor element to the combat as well, making sure you are using the right attacks against the right enemies.
I think the controls were fine, once you get over the fact you need both hands on the keyboard its perfectly OK!

Very solid foundation for a fun game in the future. More spell combinations and a bigger variety of enemies will help out. Maybe even longer combos for stronger spells? Make sure to finish this game!
I saw the comments above about the controls and I was thinking it would be really hard to use the mouse as the two hands are already busy moving and casting spells... but then I had an idea:
Currently you have to type the action then the two parts of the element, and the last input casts the spell, right? That leads to players typing only two thirds of the spell then waiting for the right position to finish casting it. So, what if instead the player is required to type the whole spell to prepare it, then it's the mouse click that actually casts it in a certain direction? Maybe even let the player keep casting the same spell once it's prepared (keeping that cooldown between uses, of course).
