Funny little title! Camera panning is way, waaaay too fast for my taste, but I dug the idea. Summoning input mini game was cool. Love the overall vibe, but apparently I'm not cut out to be demon restaurateur.

Very fun theming great work! The materials are all very nice, and i love the summon effect with the arrows

@drahmen Thanks for playing! Just so we can improve submissions in the future, did you mean it was too fast looking around with the mouse or the speed that it transitions to the summoning book?

Real fun game, well executed, properly made me think I was working in a kitchen. Great game!

I loved this! Was fun making the food. I loved the design of the monsters. I ended up just spawning a bunch of imps for the fun of it at the end

Love the style. Kind of reminded me of Lethal Company rendering (not sure if intentional or not), and is very charming. The models and animations are all really fun, and feel impactful. Could use more in terms of progression.. Would also be great if the game indicated that the order is about to be over a more audibly.

Very fun and creative, like evil overcooked. I also enjoy the DDR arrow key to summon, it's a fun super "mini" gam, and unique use of the theme. Overall tone and over the top gore is fun.

This was a fun take on a cooking game. It feels pretty complete. My only critique would be that the tuning could make a big difference on how interesting this is to play. On my first try, I lost immediately because I was still figuring out how to play but once I learned I was playing for a while and it wasn't really getting any harder so I probably could've gone on forever. If I were tuning this, I'd probably make the first couple orders have long timers and spread them out a good bit so it's not overwhelming while the player is first learning but then have the difficulty ramp up higher after the player has done a good handful of orders. Overall, a really unique take on the theme and the game has a surprising amount of polish for a game jam project.

Hahaah i'ts really fun. Hell's kitchen! I would love to see more work on the artistic side, but the idea and gameplay are great.

Okaay, Impanadas, my new favorite food

This is the best looking game I've played so far, and I also enjoyed the cute sound effects. Don't see much to fault. Only UI improvement I can think of is click detection for the demons you just summoned and the summoning book. Several times I would summon a creature, immediately try to click the demon, and just go back to the book. I'm not sure if there's an invisible hitbox that you can't click around or what, but I'd suggest : if you click straight on the model that model is selected, otherwise if you click on empty space you can use the larger hotboxes or check cursor distance or something.

Is this a Spain moment? Or from which country are these particular empanadas based on? Also, this game reminds me of another one called Amigo Kebab Simulator.

During gameplay I accidentally activated summoning and it seems like there is no way to cancel, except for summoning another creature. It also took me two minutes to figure out that you can't grind the Fallen, I thought it wasn't working.

Good job and congratulations!

What a game! I like this one, it's so fun, challenging and awkward. I enjoyed it, thank you!

The the menu is above all smells, and the dishes themselves are so aetitic that I would like to try a couple of them myself:D

It's quite a gory interpretation of the topic, but I love it! It's quite a lot of fun, managed to get to 1k. Although I feel the difficulty ramping isn't enough, even later on, it's easy to just go and go on without losing. Had to stop playing in order to lose.

Aside from the difficult not ramping, I was having a blast playing this game! Very interesting concept and also great models! Good job!

I love the idea. Sadly it crashed my PC idk how anyways i think is just my problem.

The blood effect from grinding the demons made this feel like a classic flash game from back in the day haha. I enjoyed the gameplay, a diner dash style game is always fun.

I don't know about ya'll, but I got a bit hungry lookin at the finished deep fried impanadas.

The timers were a bit fast towards the end and I feel some balancing could be done. Complex recipes (like the sauced up wings) take a tad longer and I wasn't given much of an intro time to the new process to adjust. I am grateful I got that far though. If possible, maybe a break after a few orders. Something so I can recenter myself. Still its a great game!

This game made me laugh. The grinding of the imps was shocking at first, but I enjoyed every iteration performed.

I felt a little bad about leaving food on the floor, but you know how it is. Pick it up and toss it in the fryer! Should be fine.

funy and yammy:) nice game! mb just a little too intense - it will be nice, have a day end mechanic or brake betwen orders, just for look around, buy upgrades and have some preparation before shift starts

sweetwizzle 2024-04-26 22:18

Okay this made me chuckle. Although a pretty typical representative of the genre, it's a really fun submission for the jam, and I enjoyed it. Also thank you for the option to mute the radio!

Gosh I really could go for some empanadas right now.
