I like the atmmosphere from the shadows
It's a good start for a game, and it's easy to understand, that need more developpement time to be interesting but the base is here. The sound, the ambiant, is very important for this kind of game, next time take one hour to find a good music and sfx, in jam mode you can use free music, and you have already opt out sound categorie.
Overall it's great. Some suggestions: 1. The notes are ambiguous and difficult to read 2. You can add a background music, it is fine to use unoriginal audio. :smirk_cat:
Pretty interesting game mechanic! Although I could not figure out V and III at all, pretty sure V was refering to a garbage can but I didn't find it. Definitely a game that wants background music, even if it's just ambience.
I like the atmosphere and the graphics are very good. I like how the game is inspired by horror movies
@alexandru-barbanoua We're glad you like the game
@poboy Thanks for your feedback!
V - Yes it is a garbage can and it's between the sofa and armchair. It is pretty hard to see the digit but glow is written like gl0w III - Count the number of the dots :)
@loka Thanks for your feedback!
I agree with you, but I wanted the players to feel like someone wrote the text by hand. We will add audio in the final product :)
@robowarrior1982 Thanks for your feedback!
We will consider your words in the future
@forewillow Thanks for your feedback!
I really enjoyed this entry, even if it made me feel *really* stupid for about half an hour 🤣

The puzzle has a really nice flow to it. Finding the notes, and then realising that you have to extract deeper meaning out of their content is a really neat mechanic. The prose was good as well, except for an awkward opening sentence in note 4.
Most puzzle games in LD are pure logic - sokoban and the like. It's really nice to see a "narrative" puzzle game for once!
I thought the graphics were decent. I'd maybe lean into the darkness a little more. I might have even made the whole game greyscale if I were you, with the occasional splash of red when it needs to be creepy.
I agree with the other commenters about the game needing some sounds. A nice eerie drone and some echoing footsteps would have taken the atmosphere up a notch!
A good effort all around - but an amazing first LD effort!
@teddyreid We appreciate a lot your feedback! Thank you for passing our game. We are glad you enjoyed it!:)
I enjoyed figuring out what to do and then puzzling over the poems, which were overall well written! I would echo what others have said about the importance of audio. I've had very good luck for sound effects and music on [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/users/pixabay-1/), with my last couple of jam games exclusively using that as my main source for audio. Make sure to trim online sound effects since they will frequently include a bit of silence at the beginning that can affect timing! For free online assets, it's good to always provide attribution, even where the legal obligations of the license do not require it
I like the game's aesthetics and shadow effects, but it definitely needs background music. Also, like others have said the cursive font on the notes was hard to read. It's more legible at fullscreen though.
Good job creating a puzzle through visuals and narrative.
Unfortunately, for me personally, these riddles were either too difficult or not specific enough, so I couldn't figure out the password.
Still, good job on the atmosphere and 3D graphics. It’s an interesting set of mechanics and narrative.
