This runs extremely slowly on my laptop for some reason. I promise to get around to playing this in a week, when i get access to my stationary pc again.
btw I often forget how much a megabyte really is. This website really put things in perspective:

Good game! Wind in the Sails is simple, fun, very well implemented, it's a short game and adapts to the theme. The art and animations are very nice, catch your attention and make you want to keep playing. Definitely one of the games to consider in this edition of Ludum Dare.
I think the design of this game allows to make a bigger and more fun game. If, for example, instead of just one mission there were more, and at the end of each mission the inventory would change (in size or shape). It would give an extra dimension to the game in terms of design complexity and learning curve.
Very good game, I'll keep it for when the JAM voting opens!
*ESC = Application.Quit() made me cry.
@crispypear Yes, I should admit right now that the game is HEAVILY unoptimized. I started to do some of it for the grass but I never fully implemented it. If I did, you probably could've run it just fine on your laptop. Sorry! :|
@danyvk Thank you for the feedback. I definitely wanted to put more content in, but, as always, scope-creep is always my enemy. Also, I apologize for making it so darn easy to close the game, that's on me. :|

The art style and mood are really nice! This seems like it would be a really fun game to expand on. Great submission and well done!
a very relaxing experience. I had to restart the game a couple of times as I'm used to pressing escape to close menus :/
Also, the fullscreen option seems to not change the resolution, causing this pixelated effect on my 1440p monitor (not sure if you'll spot it on the screenshot)

@dock-frankenstein Again, I apologize for the great ease of closing your game by accident. :|
The fullscreen problem might be due to the game being made in 1920x1080, which I have to keep in mind next time I make game not using any pixel art.
Thank you for the feedback!
Wow, the game is _grand and inspiring_) The game is great, feels polished, has an interesting inventory mechanic, is non-linear, artstyle is wallpaper-worthy, and the music... ahhhhh the music is good. If we're talking about the menu music, fucking hell it is *GOOD*, I want it in my playlist. Exploration is fun, though the character moves a bit too slow for those big spaces. I can't help, but feel like there is something behind those trees. GG
@iron-head Thank you for the feedback!
