Art is cool
I like the mechanic and atmosphere of the game interesting approach to put it into platformer. Great job
How should i play this game? Because it seems like source code in zip file?
I liked the mechanic of light following cursor and a the artstyle, but collisions are buggy and there is no end, as I reached the edge of a map and nothing happened. Also sometimes you can't see where you land as ground located beneath player's view. Overall, nice little game that could use some polishment.
I also loved the lighting and the graphics, although I think having some small jump animation, perhaps the edges of the clothes going up etc would helped giving it a lot more impact when jumping. The game-play was fine although a little glitchy at times. It felt like I'd have to move a bit too slow and discover things beforehand a lot, because the light mostly showed me the fabulous top part and not the spikes. The atmosphere was really nice! Neat work overall!
I wasn't sure what my goal was, and the triple jump + sticking to walls was odd, but the ambience and character design was cool!
Would recommend looking at games like Mario and Hollow Knight to learn how their cameras work, a good camera makes a big difference to how a platformer feels. Here's a good breakdown of Mario's: https://bymuno.com/post/camera
I liked the idea of a platformer version of escaping a labyrinth, and that you can't even fight back (which makes sense against such big, frightening wolves!). I wish there were save points along the way, though, as I would mess up and have to start all over.
I do agree with the other comments that being able to see down before jumping would be nice and that the use of the fairy light was great. It was all super thematic, too!
Art is great
Very nice work, great graphics and a good idea. The game is very interesting, no bugs detected
The atmosphere and art were great! The dragonfly light was a really fun and innvative idea! I did get a few bugs where my character got half burried in land and so jump stopped working.
I haven't seen such mechanics before. I found it interesting. This game mechanic has potential!
Can't play the game. But I love the graphics already!
The art is lovely, and the music is proper spooky. Agree with earlier comment that no-fighting platformer mechanics is a neat idea to play with. Unsure how this game fits with the theme (unless we count all platformers as "limited space" genre). Reached the house, which I assume is the end of the level, but nothing happens - would be nice to have a simple end game screen for the feeling of completeness. Good job!
Well, cool and unusual
The atmosphere and art are great! There were a lot of blind jumps where it would have been nice to have some indication of where you're supposed to go without trial and error jumps to your death. I'm also not sure if wall jumping is intended or if that's just buggy platforming.
Awesome art! The mushroom house at the end was especially cool. I assume that was the end of the level since I couldn't get back, although nothing happened when I got there.
Very cool game nice artstyle )
Despite the tight deadline, you managed to create a really enjoyable game. Keep making games, you're really talented!
