Oh wow, The integration of the theme is incredible and, frankly, intuitive.

Oh wow, The integration of the theme is incredible and, frankly, intuitive.
Cool game and the gameplay was great even if I didn't see the utility of throwing the artefact while I can just hold Q :o
Love how the theme was integrated for this game, I think a small downside of the emergent game dynamics is I found myself holding down Q pretty much the entire game, and the quick movement led to me always being at the edge of the limited space which led to some janky 2d physics. The art and music are amazing! Overall nice job!
This is a great game mechanic and a very interesting way to incorporate the theme. I also like the music and the glow effect on the sprites.
The character movement and collisions are not always clean, I think they could use a little polish. Especially the spike hitbox, wall jumps, and the orb colliding in walls.
I love the central concept here. At first I was like, why wouldn't I just hold 'Q' but once I knew you could throw the cube, I feel for it. Being able to fly by throwing it over and over, and juggling it in a wall jump is really fun. My main gripe with the game is that the wall jump feels not so great and the jump feels inconsistently floaty.
The button choice is a little crowded, I had a hard time getting my right hand to do everything
Like others, I found that being able to hold Q to constantly bring the artifact to you made the main mechanic pretty moot. Still, it's a great idea and I'd like to see a new version with some sort of change that forces the player to use that and the throwing mechanic properly! Music was great, I just wish there were some SFX for player actions. Keep making games!
Thanks all for playing the game and for the feedback. Yes we can see now how the game could be better with some polishing and improvement/changes on the Q and E mechanics. We'll definitely take your advice into account for our future games.
It is very cool idea to turn a familiar environment (a platformer) into something new by adding the mechanic. It forces you to improvise and relearn what you know. I would say that your game is promising and, if you choose to continue working on it, has some potential. Good work!
This game really caught my attention. I liked it a lot, and the concept is fantastic
