Heads up you link is broken. Maybe you forgot to make it public? Excited to try this game!Screenshot from 2023-10-02 12-16-04.png

nepturenus 2023-10-02 18:15

Really like your description and the process behind it all, but the link is dead :(

hangovergames 2023-10-02 18:26

Link is dead but its not a problem Cool concept but I'd do something similar with a bulldozer

scottmakesgames 2023-10-02 21:47

@alec @nepturenus @hangovergames Thank you for letting me know! I had that feeling that I'd forgotten something, but I couldn't put my finger on what it was. I've fixed it now 😅

Cool concept, enjoyed it. Camera was a little buggy and oh my god that blueprint needs organization! Overall was fun!

congeesetador 2023-10-03 03:25

Overall I enjoyed the game but got confused about the part with food rotting, I was guessing the rotting food was the flashing red but when I tried picking that food up it didn't let me and instead picked up one that was next to it.

scottmakesgames 2023-10-03 03:31

@congeesetador Oh no! Sounds like I have a bug! Indeed we should have made it more obvious what was happening 😅 Lessons learned for next time!

light153709 2023-10-03 06:22

The camera seems bugged when I tried to roll down, the concept of storage is so right to represent the theme!Maybe the fullness of snack is also a limited space :-D

milan8890 2023-10-03 06:32

The concept is really fun, but the camera sometimes bugs out and i can't place the foods in the fridge, also sometimes i can put 2 foods in the same area. I think it would have been better to allow the player to hold the directional keys instead of only tapping them for WASD. But interesting idea!

joymagine 2023-10-03 06:47

sounds like you had a fun time making it and hope you learned some more about using Unreal, sounds like a cool concept, the food overlaps each other oops well its good to get more gamedev practice! <3

The game is really good, I liked the styling. You guys are good! 🙉

eroxxie 2023-10-03 09:04

The idea and concept is really neat, i had problems with bugs unfortunaly, especially camera bugs, but cool idea!

thenerdster 2023-10-03 09:24

Oh man VR controls would have made this game interesting, I picked up the wrong item sometimes, somehow but over all no major problems enjoying your game. Well done!

mindhijacker 2023-10-03 09:38

So the limited space is your stomach or is it your fridge? because it seems that I can shove infinite food into the fridge

alanushke 2023-10-03 09:45

a bit buggy, filling the fridge isnt something i havent seen before, but the idea of having that mechanic together with some time management of making sure you dont starve is neat! nice one :)

anatol-dumitras 2023-10-03 15:39

Interesting concept for a game but too complicated to achieve in only 3 days. but still a fun game nontheless. K.I.S.S.

braktheman 2023-10-03 16:28

I played this while I was eating lunch and it was very immersive!

Seriously though, game looks great. Camera is a bit wonky at times but the concept was unique. Keep up the good work!

fifut 2023-10-03 18:50

It took me a while to figure out how it worked. The concept is interesting. And the nutriscrore can only be good because it's all fruit

anton4ik-dev 2023-10-04 12:54

I felt lost but than I understand the game idea and I liked your page on site it was interesting to read. I will suggest you take smaller ideas in future

hopem 2023-10-04 13:37

Its not bad for your first try at UE. I didn't notice the nutriscore at the start. There were problems with the camera and sometimes I couldn't move the food where I wanted to. It does feel too easy and I didn't feel there was a point to put more food in the fridge when there was some already in it. Also, the music doesn't loop.

svenerik 2023-10-05 08:28

Haha what a nice concept. I also didn't notice the nutriscore at the start, so perhaps some better instructions could be helpful there and some polish to the controls. Very neat implementation of the theme though, jolly good job at it!

egormnc 2023-10-14 14:40

The game is interesting, it was quite nice to play it, keep working on it and everything will be cool
