Graphics look nice, but I'm unsure of what i should do after my inventory was full, i just kept throwing things away.

Adorable characters and a lovely graphic style! It's very theme-centric with the concept of limited inventory space, which adds depth to the gameplay. The game is super approachable, and it could be even more challenging if the pricing were hinted at. I'm eagerly looking forward to the complete version with audio.
Neat! I love the artwork, really chill mood it sets. I wasn't sure what the value of each item is so it is hard to decide what you should keep and what you should toss, but otherwise it was fun trying to position everything to maximize space.
I was promised treasures and trinkets but I got stinky shoes and pine cones instead. Really cute art style!
the art is adorable! unfortunately it wasn't really intuitive what i was suppose to do with my items or what items are better than others but it's a nice submission!
I really love the art style, but just like many other people who commented, I was unsure of what I was doing in the game. I tetrised my bag and then just kept throwing away things and occasionally replacing things
Very nice art! I hope I didn't miss anything, but as far as I know, this game is purely about collecting things. I can only guess maybe there was a plan to sell them? Otherwise, beautiful art showcase.
raccoons? did someone say raccoons? Im going to have to agree with the others and say that there wasn't much of a point and I felt kinda lost throughout but the art style was really charming and this is a nice start to a sort of tycoon sort of game where you have to keep restocking your shop with trinkets.
great game! and make sure to implement raccoons in every game!
I like your character design! But gameplay is a little bit boring and frustrating
First of all thanks everyone for playing!
I finally got some time to play my own game and I can see the critics, it really seems like an aimless game with no clear objectives. My idea at the start was to make an "infinite game" where you would try to keep playing for as long as possible and at the end the items you keep would be added to the shop's inventory
It's my fault for trying to make a game jam entry which relies so much on asset diversity to be interesting. By the rules I can't add new features, but if I could add one little thing would be a highscore and "seen items" board
But if you liked the idea stay tuned, I plan on making a post-jam version of it
nice art and atmosphere :) really cute submission and it was fun to see the new items that would come up. But I didn't understand why time to go back to the store took me back to the main menu. I felt like I pressed the wrong thing.
Very neat game. I absolutely adore the artwork!! Some feedback would be to give the player a more clear goal, like others already said here, and also to be a little more forgiving of mistakes. Since we can't see the layout of an item before picking it up, it would be nice to be able to drop it and pick up another item/throw away some other things instead of being forced to delete the item. One time I also wasn't able to place a pinecone on an empty slot, wich I think was a bug.
The art is very cute, and I love the concept (somewhat biased as my own game is similar) As others have said the game doesn't really seem to have an objective yet, like I don't know what I am supposed to prioritize. In some ways that could be neat, collecting just what you think are valuable though.
@borabee yes, I had some problems with the grid, sometimes it randomly doesn't reads the mouse click and I'm yet to know if it is correctly emptying the slot once the user takes an item out lol
I'm working on it and will try to make a bug free grid for the post jam version
The artwork looks great!
I was hoping the see the guaxinim's shop, where does he store his stuff? (Uai, cadĂȘ a loja do guaxinim???)
I think that I found a bug: when you lose while holding an item and start a new journey, clicking the items list doesn't work.
If I lose without holding an item, everything works normally.
I think some variable wasn't cleared between journeys.
It happened on both HTML5 and Windows.
Overall a nice cozy game, if you add the shop and some way to keep the items and trade them or something, it could become a very addicting game.
