Really cool! Loved the slingshot mechanic and how easy it was to use the slingshot! Sick game!
Nice idea!
My ship is gone without me(((
Great game ! A bit hard to understand the controls at first but then I loved their variety. Good job
At first we didn't understand how to interact with the sail, but then we figured it out. Slingshots don't stand out, we would like more sound design. Nice entry!
The game is very fun. Very satisfying to launch with the catapult. It's a good idea to have islands also below and the sail is very cool to raise and lower. Nothing negative to say here :)
I was seriously surprised by how much I ended up enjoying this game. I'm a huge fan of physics based games and games with in world controls (tablets for map and camera, line for sail) and for how short and simple it was, you've managed to create a game with mechanics that are truly fun to play around with. Felt a little reminiscent of Overcooked (without coop) having to juggle many different tasks at the same time: adjust the sails, prepare a package for the hatch, shoot a package with the slingshot, check the map and side camera, open the hatch, prepare next package etc. There was always something urgent that needed doing and never enough hands to accomplish them all
The slingshots looked a little too much like oarlocks and I thought they were just there for detail. Took me a little while to understand they were slingshots so I was confused as to how I was supposed to throw the packages far enough to reach the islands. Would probably be a good idea to make them a bit more eye-catching to avoid any confusion.
Using the captain as a sort of tutorial or guide was also pretty clever instead of just showing a literal tutorial screen for how to play.
Really well done! I found the game fun enough to keep playing until I could deliver all packages without slowing down so I feel like that's pretty telling on my level of enjoyment. Would have absolutely kept playing if there were more levels or mechanics.
10 fallen pirate mail carriers out of 10 =)
I really enjoyed the game. I love it when the game looks very simple, but then you find out that it's deeper than expected when you interact with some parts of the ship. Discovering that they were catapults on the sides of the ship got me "Niiiiiice" :D. And of course I pressed a lever without knowing what it did, and of course I fell to a certain death :D
I loved the music, it creates a great mood and works perfectly with a flying-pirate-ship genre :D
Good job!
well considering that I think that airships are the coolest thing ever you already won in my book! this was a aimed and concise experience, my only problem is that there wasn't more! I did have some issue understand how to play at the start, as it took me some time to get the sail down (I also thew the tables overboard my first time around) but I really enjoyed the take on the theme. It felt like a breath of fresh air this LD.
it was a fun experience, the actions you can make on the boat lack feedback (putting the sail, using the slingshots, but when you understand the controls it's great! and I completely agree with the person above, flying boats are fantastic :D also it's funny, when you jump on an island, you keep moving like if you still were on the boat, I imagine that the soul of a flying postman is linked for life to his ship :D
Very nice concept, I liked how chill it is, and the atmosphere is so cool with an airship! The islands with minecraft-looking critters made me think they are gonna attack me :D It would be cool to see more different islands if you develop it further :) Some islands were too far away from me so I couldn't throw the package on them, but didn't quite figure out how to get closer ^^'
