Nice work. I almost gave up because I didn't realize there was a bridge/exit to the initial store screen.

Nice work. I almost gave up because I didn't realize there was a bridge/exit to the initial store screen.
I also had trouble finding the bridge. Otherwise the enemies are pretty funny. The corn is hard to kill.
Veggies look good and a game is pretty fun. Would be great if you could hold button to shoot instead of clicking it. Also if prices vary each day how do you know a price before selling? Even so gameplay and music are enjoyable :)
Poor veggies :(
Echoing the sentiment that some direction at the beginning would be helpful. Perhaps an arrow guiding the player to the left. SoundFX would've added that extra oomph to eliminating those veggies XD. But the music vibes helped with the enjoyment.
@slantyoj @masternoob @jaonewguy @supbanana Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate each of you playing my game. There was lots I wanted to add. Some direction at the beginning of the game was on that list. I also had soundFX made and in the project, I just ran out of time to implement them actually playing. I wanted to display the prices of the veggies each day, but again ran out of time. This was a last minute decision to participate in the jam, but I had a lot of fun.
Great visuals and take on the theme. Alas I was not able to help grandma. I think this sort of game would great benefit from upgrades but this is a fantastic start. Would be nice to give me extra projectiles or more attack speed, damage stuff like that. But otherwise you should be very proud of what you made in a weekend. Cheers!
Very nice game! I really liked the basic premise and mechanics. I would've liked to be able to hold mouse button down to shoot. Enemies have nice graphics and a bit of variability like corn stays still and shoots while carrots and tomatoes chase you down. I think the shop didn't charge me for extra hearts if I'm not mistaken and at some point the aim was a bit off during the third day. I don't know exactly what caused it, but it was maybe 5 degrees off from where the mouse was.
So a few minor things, but all in all I really liked the game. I got through the third day and gathered 287 gold to save my grandad's farm. :)
Nice game, and good job getting it done in limited time! I noticed that corn's aggro range was shorter than the horizontal screen length, so you can just snipe them from the other side of the screen and they won't retaliate. I liked the different enemies. Nice work!
Nice one! I always love a good twin-stick shooter. Unfortunately I was playing on a macbook trackpad, so it was a bit difficult. I did feel like the bullets from the enemies were maybe a bit too fast, and maybe it would be nice if the player's bullets were a bit bigger too. Apart from that, great job overall!
Very nice game! I liked the gun thematic. Personaly I don't mind at all having to press for each bullet (it's a repetition gun after all) but the bullets went a little to the side (that's something that could change). Besides of that, it is possible to keep a safe distance to a plant and still shoot at it, killing without effort, so something that could be done in the future if you want to join extra mode too is reduce tha player bullet range or increase the plant vision range. Just some opinions, but excellent game!
