Funny concept and neat graphics!
Really love the art style of this game, reminds me a lot of some of the stuff you'd get on disc back in the 90s!
There was quite a lot of work for a jam. The font you chose was a bit hard to read, but the game is quite smooth overall and the graphics are nice. Well done.
Interesting idea! Combat was near impossible, though - your secondary attack has a nice FX to show it going off, but your primary attack is just invisible, and maybe sometimes hits things? Anyway, as soon as I talked to John and went to the back field, I got nearly instantly mobbed and killed.
Nice game, nice work!
Nice game, I liked the combat system. It would have been better if the mouse was hidden and captured, I sometimes clicked on my second monitor and died through that. The challenges from ol' John were very nice and I liked that you could decide the difficulty yourself by how many crops you plant.
I jumped out of my chair the first time I went to the field and got attacked by an army of carrots lol. Interesting concept, and I love the running animation of the farmer xD
Had fun ^^
The attacking method of watermelon is scaring and lethal. Cool! I like the idea that after you sow the plants you should "harvest" them. Don't sow too much once time, it's my warning. lol
Nice work! For me, the combat system was not that great. I never really felt in control, but upgrading did help. The graphics are very clean, and the audio is good. Good job!
I really liked the animations of the vegetables and i liked the fact that you kept your progression even though you died, because I got totally wrecked by the melons over and over  But after a while I developed an efficient farming strategy :sunglasses:
I also liked that it was calm background music and a switch to combat music, added a lot to the mood.
A small annoyance for me was that you got stuck on walls instead of sliding past them, it felt a bit wrong with how the game played otherwise.
Just a note that the sound levels were a bit too high, I needed to adjust it for the application in sound mixer. And for some reason it showed up as two different applications with one of the playing even though the game is minimized but the other didnt
A very nice piece! This design of cultivating your own rewards is great, and the difficulty of the game is entirely up to the player. The art is harmonious throughout the game, the only thing that confuses me is that overly loud background music QAQ.
- Text (font) is a bit hard to read - The sounds / music is a bit loud - Death is a bit too sudden, not knowing what happened - Some buttons overlapped with the text (e.g. man in the rocking chair) - Not sure exactly what was the end-goal of the game (just harvest as many then plant them?) - Graphics and music are pretty nice
Overall nice twist on the theme (with the wizard) and decent game loop!
you managed to get a lot in over the jam which is very impressive! Love the visual style!
The sound volume was fine for me, and there's some nice sprite work. Fun gameplay loop, but it's a little brutal having a hard reset upon death. Nice job on this :)
A very interesting game, when I went to the field when I saw a group of carrots suddenly ran I immediately turned my head back hahaha. Painting style and music are great. The watermelon attack is really painful, subject to two attacks on the death. But there is a bug, when you unlocked the second field when planted on the top to go out and then come in the monster will be stuck in the original place where there is a fence to stop, I hope to improve a little, looking forward to future updates!

A really solid entry and pretty vast. I found the combat to be a bit confusing / overwhelming at times and would have liked some more visual feedback. The art was cool the systems were great and overall this is a really ambitious game that was well pulled off. KUDOS
