wow, great game. Well done

Great job! I love the upgrade system and the gameplay overall. One thing that I'm missing is that you can't aim down so the bottom pieces of the monsters are hard to hit

Oh man, this was FUN! Exactly my type of game. Tremendously satisfying gameplay loop.

It seemed a little strange to me that you keep your money, but not your upgrades when you transition between levels? I guess the player would get too overpowered too quickly if they kept their upgrades. Sometimes you couldn't hit the enemy at the very top/bottom if they were really close to you, so I always went for those first and saved the middle for last.

The pixels turning 3D(2.5D?) when they break away from the enemy was an amazing effect and looks great! Really nice job.

Gud humour

Really nice game! I wish I could buy even more upgrades^^

Incredibly satisfying game. Super fun to play , and I imagine even more so on mobile. With a little polish I could see this really taking off.

Great art, Awesome Music, satisfying gameplay . Upgrading between rounds was a great way to push "ok one more round". I was really surprised how many levels there were. Though the first round of them was always a wash, waiting to spend your money from the previous level. Maybe have upgrades on the next round button too.

Breaking the pixels into cubes was a nice mechanic . I wish your truck had the same behavior when you lost .

The game felt really polished and aside from an occasional gunfire animation when I couldn't fire the art style worked really well together

I could see this becoming a great mobile release . Amazing work

There's no loose condition, but you still _feel_ like you're doing something -- and indeed, the particles flying off and grabbing the coins are very satisfying.

I had to see if there's an end -- SPOILER: It ends after the pumpkin. Your car is just ... there, and doesn't shoot

oleksandra 2022-10-04 17:05

@remco It's not the end! Rusher Crusher is standing guard and waiting for new enemies! And they will come soon...

PS. We just didn't add the final scene because of the deadline

Great entry! I really like how you looped the game with core mechanics. Voxel effects and music are awesome too. During the play, I got a few minor bugs like once I got destroyed by 2 small invisible cubes, and button SFX is always the same regardless of whether you can buy an upgrade or not. But these things don't affect the overall impression of the game. Keep going!

It was a fun game, although I feel like a few things could be improved. My suggestions are just to make the max a little bit higher, another is that sometimes I can get destroyed by like a few small cubes floating above but thats all.

Still good game.:D

very creative game! i love the effects, the upgrades, and all the various sprites! i feel like the fact that you have to get crushed and THEN buy upgrades was a little jarring, but other than that, this was great!

stalemeat 2022-10-06 22:14

Oh I liked this one. I really liked how the monsters(?) were made of cubes and they broke off when hit. Is it possible to win without upgrades? If so that would probably require I ton of skill. The upgrades were a nice touch with generous kickback. Good entry.

penguinmunch 2022-10-06 22:34

Very fun! And the art was amazing!

sk-katea 2022-10-10 07:24

Ahahahah I love the game name and the graphics are mesmerizing

tsunscreen 2022-10-11 07:45

Pretty smooth, just found it strange that the upgrades didn't persist through enemies, guess it was just hard to balance that way?
