Nice, nice, nice...
Pro: - The idea with the character swap is really funny - The implementation of the idea is great (it could have been very confusing and frustrating, but it is not at all) - A circle for the next swap is AWESOME (for clarity and strategy, since you have some influence over it - you can kill it to switch) - Prioritising the switch for already played characters is also great
Cons / Feedback: - It took me some time to understand that all the animals have different attacks and what they are (especially the hedgehog) - More clarity on the current life of the characters would be nice (the size difference in size is not very visible/understandable and after some points it seems that you can not grow anymore but still have more life)
Bugs (?): - The mouse has no attack ? - The system that lets you jump over others is not very consistent and you can jump on the head of another animal... And stay there. Sure. This mechanic also contributed to my confusion with character attacks. - You can go outside the visible area (in the left and right corners)
Very good visuals, nice gameplay and beautiful music, but the characters' abilities raise questions at the beginning, especially the hedgehog's skill
Love the graphics, amazing game overall!
The different character abilities were fun to mess around with. Showing the next creature you will control was also great, as I found myself targeting my future self if it was one I didn't want. The hedgehog that dropped mines was my favorite, got a score of 89. Nice entry!
The animals are really cute and funny! The implementation feels really smooth as well. But I thought the overall gameplay experience left something to be desired--what you're supposed to be doing (or even, at the beginning, who you're controlling) isn't very clearly communicated, and it was surprisingly feasible to just move away from the group and let them kill each other. But I'd like to give it another spin to see about getting the hang of the different characters' abilities a little more, and I think it may grow on me the second time around.
I think the game is very cool! Having a deathmatch where you switch between players creates an incentive of carefully choosing the best characters to play. There is an issue of balance, as the mine-creating characters are garbage. Other than this, cool game!
Love the handmade graphics, it gives a great gamefeel :)

This was fun! I wish the "play again" button was in the same place as the back button cuz I almost exited when I wanted to play again, but that's super minor. And there was one animal I couldn't figure out the special power for (I wish I remembered which one) but once I realized the bar on the left was the special power timer, I really got into the groove! Plus it's soooooooooo cute!

great game. I had fun and there is probably no animal that I would not like to play as. Although I think the fight against the bears was unnecessarily complicated... they shut me down before I could look around, but maybe it would have helped if the player didn't die on the first hit. I would also appreciate some sound signal when changing animals.
but those are little things. I enjoyed the game even though I didn't get a high score
Amazing graphics! Fighting was fun and engaging. Sounds were great too! I was wondering how many people were on your team and when I noticed that you did this alone, I was very impressed! Definitely one of my favorite entries this jam. However, sometimes it took me a while to notice which animal I am newly playing. Some better indicator would be great, but that's nitpicking. Amazing game!
