Fun little game. It gets pretty hard when you want to grow 3 crops at the same time, but that's what makes it fun. Good job!

Thanks a lot, @lemare! Glad you enjoyed it:)
Very cool game! Minimalistic, but very neat. I love games like these!
PROS:
- Very responsive controls - The vibe of graphics/music and everything meshed really well - High score!
Points of improvement:
- Little bit unclear on when a crop was full grown (Maybe some simple user feedback such as a small + coming out of the crop?) - Music did get a little repetitive
First LD game I played this jam and already very satisfied!
Thanks for your submission!
@kepsert thanks a lot, I'm really happy you liked it and thanks for your points of improvement as well
This WILL stay on my PC :D It is simple idea (I believe with a lot of work behind) and its good! Graphics are really fine. I like that minimalistic style and game starting system (Player touches the button). After time that music was kinda pissing me off, and that goes well with this type of game :D Well done!
@borka thank you so much, very kind words
Very cool game! It has that feel that reminds me of the old games. I had some issues when the game started, but that was on me cuz I started playing before reading the instructions here. Nice job!
Fun little game!
Pretty cool. I enjoyed it.
Cool concept! The art is pretty charming, I especially like how you explode if the blade hits you. It's fun to make it purposefully hectic for yourself by juggling all three crops, throwing them over the blade and all. It'd be cool if the game got increasingly more chaotic, and I think it'd be helpful if there was some indicator if a crop was fully grown as well. Outside of that though, definite props for the unique concept, I like the style a lot. Well done!
I'd prefer if it was a bit slower-paced, but maybe I just went in with "farming game" expectations :D All in all I liked the tight controls (and the throw arc!) and the audio-visual style. The blade could be a little more forgiving when it comes to collisions, at least in the center.
It was a fun game I really liked the music and art for it. I got splatted by the blade.
Really cute game, and pretty funny. I love the art style. Took me a second to realize you can pick the crops back up
Interesting idea, defiantly not what I expected. You should probably put some screenshots in this page cause I imagined a totally different farming experience (^:
@postfrog thanks - and good idea! I have added a gif to the "The game" section ^^
@hexstart, @brainloaf-studio thank you guys - yeah, if the blade rotations weren't locked in to be those exactly 10 seconds, we would probably had made it start slower and escalate as time went on :P We also talked much about how to make it worth the risk of juggling multiples instead of just taking it slow and steady, but alas didn't find the time to implement anything to that effect. We had both a small graphical effect as well as a sound effect ready for the "crop fully ready" indicator, but didn't get around to actually add them - cause indeed it can be hard to judge, especially in the chaos xD
That's a pretty cool idea, and I love your description! The music is very energetic and fitting.
It would be nice to have some indication that the crops are done growing, as you have no idea how they are supposed to look when fully grown and can only find out by throwing them around long enough.
The harvesting blade is more deadly than it seems it should be around it's mounting point. And that's the story of how I died

I really enjoyed this game! I love the retraux art style and the music was catchy and weird in a good way. I think the core gameplay loop of walking and picking things up worked well, but I think it needs a bit more of a challenge to really engage in the mechanics. I found a winning strategy to be to just throw them right behind the blade and hoping they grow enough before the next rotation. Perhaps changing from a score-based game to one with a hunger meter might better incentivize growing all the way?
Also, make the center a solid object. I kept running right through it and dying as soon as it turned on
Nice Work!
Very good game, I really liked the idea, I'm really bad at this style, but I'll train more to be better lol, a big hug.
