I really liked the fluent/fast gameplay! Though the introduction font was a bit hard to read.

I really like the game, and the progressive difficulty of more dinosaurs but also extra health continuing to spawn. Really a nice game!
I really like it! It was fun. :) Me as dinosaur fighting with others? Excellent. Your game is really catchy. I felt the presure to hurry and destroy the ancient tree. And Krahan is right about the introduction font.
Made it, my best time is 01'51"! Some nice artwork, fun levels, and the music speeding up was a nice touch.
Although it does leave me wondering why other dinosaurs are attacking you. You'd think they'd want to delay their extinction as well haha.
@ferociter Thanks!! We made it that way because you are the only "intelligent" dinosaur and the Strange creature only told to you that could save the Earth, and is in the dinosaur nature to attack each other (is it?).
The character was SUPER fluid and made it fun to dodge around! I especially liked how the tail responded (or felt like it responded) to movement.
I think you went a little overboard on obstacles like cacti though, and they often messed up my "tactical Weaving"
But perfectly squeezing between some rocks to escape other dinosaurs was my favorite part of the gameplay loop
good entry :)
Fun game. I liked the graphics and the music especially.
Nicely done!
This is a nice fun little game, pretty simple
Fun and catchy game! I really like the music and the graphics are nice :) Well done!
I liked the way that the music sped up as you got repeated the same day over and over again. I also liked the graphics and the way the dinosaurs tail moved. I had a couple ways I thought things could be improved:
- Graphical consistency. The dinosaurs are all top down but the other items are at 3/4 view, which is a little jarring and probably is related to my next point. - Unclear hitboxes. Just looking at two things I had no idea if I was going to be able to walk between them or not. I also couldn't tell if swinging my tail was going to hit things in front of me from the way it looked. This made the game kind of difficult to make any risk/reward decisions. - I don't think you could really avoid the dinosaurs. Either they were in your way or they weren't and there wasn't much you could do about it. Running past them wasn't an option (because of the hitbox problem) and I couldn't dodge their attacks, so my only option was to run right at them and just hope to kill them before I died. -For some reason my dinosaur constantly pulled down and to the left. It made some parts very difficult because I always had to be moving.
Not trying to be overly critical! I liked the gameplay loop and the mood of the game. I played through it twice and died at almost the exact same point both times.
The game was fun but I avoided most of the fights. I really liked how the music got higher pitch after each loop.
Cool idea -- really fits with the theme! Like some others said, tightening hitboxes / making them more clear and polishing the feel of the controls could make this even better :-)
Fun!! I wasn't a big fan of the chrome music lab music at first, but as soon as I noticed it kept going up in pitch with every level I fell in love! The xylophone really fits with the pre-historic theme. The attack is quite delayed, which is fine but I just don't see how you'd hit another dino without getting hit yourself, so running away always seems like the best option. Even then I liked it a lot! Felt like I could keep playing for a long time.
Cool game
