Beautiful visual, but if at the beginning we dodge the first asteroids, and then just hold down the W key, then we gain time endlessly. You may have created a new game genre called Holder (like a Clicker) screenshot.51.png

Visual is wonderful!
Really cool mechanics, the slow gravitational pull and being able to fly around the centre of gravity is great! Agree with the previous comment, i played initially while staying close to the sun and it was really fun dodging everything but had another go and just flew off and didnt have any problems! Maybe if you don't want to put up a barrier you could potentially make the gravity stronger the further away you get so that it gets harder to move far from the sun, keeping you close by! Just ideas though, really cool game!
P.s. What method did you use for the leaderboard? It updated and loaded instantly! Was really impressive :)
@hamdogu I actually increase the gravity for every meteor falling into the sun. It's just takes about 2-3 minutes to overcome the speed of the spaceship. :) For the leaderboard I wrote a minimal REST-API Backend with express.js (basically just a post and get route) and hosted it on Heroku. The values are then stored on cloud.mongodb.com.
@bitnight Ah that's fair enough! Thanks so much for that explination, I appreciate it! :)
A super simple and fun little game idea. The music and the visuals is great. I overall liked it. Well done.
Fun game, but the camera made me a bit motion sick
Nice atmospheric music and interesting concept for a game. The controls felt kinda floaty, but maybe that's the vibe you were going for. It does feel like there needs to be something that makes you want to stay closer to the sun and maybe some indication of where the sun is. Otherwise, it feels like you could just keep flying out forever.
What a great idea and concept, the gameplay is a bit dizzy having to rotate so much but it is very well applied. The art is very good, I would like to see it more polished, with more ship designs and that black boom look more scary xD The music is very relaxing and the sounds give that feeling of being in space, great job! Congratulations!
Good game :) I love the ambient space setup, it creates a good mood. Also well done for the leaderboard. Great job overall!
nice game, though it would be a regular asteroid like game, but you added your own flavour to it and it end up being quite fun to play! the music is really well suited for a space game too, well done
great entry, and props for having a leaderboard!
Trippy! I did get a bit motion sick if things really got wobbly which I didn't expect, but good to keep in mind. Other than that I liked the visuals though, and this was a solid execution of a simple concept. Also the lava rocks looked awesome.
Fun game with trippy mechanics. Although you can easily escape the asteroid zone the game forces you to stay in range to gain points making a logical risk-reward factor. Great entry
This was a nice little game. Leaderboard is a great addition. Found the spaceship satisfying to move and the asteroids fun and later challenging to avoid. The camera movement is nice and pleasantly disorientating, though a little more "look ahead" would be nice.
I would have liked there to be more of a parallax effect on the background, to give the illusion that you are actually moving. When no asteroids are on the screen, is looks a bit weird.
When I got back to read the comments here, I saw that others too had discovered the exploit, where you simply fly far far away from the starting point and can thus survive apparently forever. Had to fly backwards to find an asteroid to die on. I didn't submit my exploited score and am satisfied with my score from my first try  Thanks for the game!
