Very fun game! It got even more fun when I picked up lots of speed-up powerups

We had eerily similar premises- needless to say, I approve of the theme! Core gameplay mechanics are solid and plays quite smoothly. Would love to see this after audio is added and balancing some numbers.

@fc85057 that is very surprising but trust us, we were not looking at others for ideas, it was just surprising that ragnarok was a part of both of our games. If you want to try a more updated version heres the link to after jam updated version that I have been working on. Audio is still not a factor but we are still learning to improve our games. I thought it was very satisfying to play! The balancing and the core mechanics work very well, nicely done! Given the goal of the project, I only have a single feedback: I thought the player's bullets were a bit too small, I personally would rather wish I was "stronger".

@settings Yes the bullets are something that can grow the more bullet size upgrades you can find, and damage was something we considered sorting out but fell short on time sadly

You have all the bones for a dungeon crawling twin stick shooter, I really hope you build it into a bigger game later so I can play it!

The little you made into the game works as it is: short nice fun. I liked it especially when i got to move faster and the big bullets were very satisfying. Audio is very crucial however, at least for me, to really enjoy such an action game. Still: Well done!

@lupercalia thank you, again none of us are used to audio in games just yet but we are learning to improve and will soon start adding actual audio in our games

You got all the mechanics and gameplay set and stone. With extra polishing, this will turn into a great game. Honestly, great work!

I found it quite easy to play but fun, I think that as far as the artistic thing, there are several things that can be worked on and improved. I think there is a bug when I got close to the walls it would switch me to the other room automatically even if I wasn't near the door. Well done overall!

it's really fun game!) But I think it will be better if you add some scores in game or counter for destroyed enemies. Good job!

Thanks for the game!
