I loved it I did 2300 points and I could have kept going but this was very long but at 800points and until the end I didn't see my boat anymore IDK if this was supposed to be like that but nvm! I had a lot of fun your game is great!

mogaiskii 2021-04-26 15:51

Pretty fun timekiller, feels like mid 00 games for me. But it took a time for me to recognize what to do

daspikeyboss 2021-04-27 09:32

@massillon-magic Glad you liked it! You aren't supposed to lose your sub like that but I forgot to make sure it stayed on the screen.

massillon-magic 2021-04-27 09:43

@daspikeyboss oh ok but np bcs it's a jam game and I went so deep that i'm not sure anyone will do it

yoO! okay this is really really fun! the audio was a little repetitive, but there were *so* many things to keep track of and you had to multitask so much. i enjoyed it very much!!!!! a lot of fish were blocked by the shop menu so it was frustrating sometimes, but it's a really fun game! good job :D

Nice work! I got about 200 points, and I kept on hoping that something more would happen but in the end I just gave up, haha. Nice 3d models!

A really well designed game I must say! Very good UX/UI that tells you what you need to do and the difficulty went up in a pretty good pace aswell.

This was a really stressful (in a good way!) take on clicker games. I liked all the different plates I had to juggle, all while clicking for fish and maneuvering my sub through the rocks. The 3D models were great and the menu/UI was clear and easy to understand. I don't know if it's a bug, but at one point I hit a rock and my sub got stuck in the "damaged" animation, eg shaking a lot, even after I passed the rock and kept descending. It only happened once so it is probably not a big deal. Also wish there were more varieties of fish, especially as you start getting into the really deep waters, that could be a cool thing to add in future. Great game!

That was a very awesome game. I thoroughly enjoyed playing through it but I do have a few things to suggest: - Prevent the sub from being caught on rocks/do damage when it hits rocks - Add depth speed decrease upgrade because it got WAYYYY too quick to keep up. - Maybe some kind of one use purchase that harvests all fish/destroys all rocks in the vicinity?

I got 3226 as my highscore. I expect to be put on the leaderboard.

Excellent game. Got a score of 1585 (as shown on the game's itch page). A few things I'd like to critique are the music; which isn't very good and loops to quickly so it gets annoying; the fact that the game gets too fast as it goes on to the degree that the fish barely have time to even spawn; and a glitch where my ship ended up falling off screen at the end. Otherwise though, great game!

daspikeyboss 2021-04-27 11:32

@ty You can close the upgrades menu with the button beside it or by pressing E. There are hotkeys linked to the numbers so that you never have to open the menu at all. @nice-gear-games More variety of fish are something I wanted to add but didn't have time for. Maybe I will add this sometime in the future. The same goes for all the upgrades and purchases @head-tilt-games suggested. Thanks for playing and your feedback :D

Nice game, was difficult to click on the icons in the main menu maybe make them into buttons or highlight in some way.

Also maybe have a maximum range for when you click a fish and add maybe a catch animation. Otherwise agree with other comments that this is a nice little game with a little polish would be really good.

The basic gameplay is fun and I also had fun figuring out how to "game" the game. Nice 3D art!

THIS GAME IS SO ADDICTING. Love clicker games like these, great implementation. I liked the low oxygen dynamic and upgrades system, although I felt it was weighted towards the pressure upgrades more than anything. Great job for a 48 hour game jam. I liked the shaders/graphics on the fish.

Here are some ideas and things I'd love to see in a future build: - a more translucent low health visual overlay - a slower acceleration upgrade option for the speed at which the sub is falling - a low pass filter applied to the fish clicking sound - a longer loop of music

Overall I really loved it! Greate work!

vixenmink 2021-05-06 04:26

Very nice. Definitely could take advantage of the upgrades being on their own panel that was opened with a key stroke. I lost a lot of fish, and ran into some rocks because I could not see. I like how everything starts taking a toll the deeper you go. Realistically awesome

daspikeyboss 2021-05-06 11:30

@alessandra Glad you liked it. A slow down upgrade is definately something I would add in the future. Your other suggestions are great as well. @vixenmink E actually opens and closes the upgrade the panel and all the upgrades are linked the number keys. A lot of people seem to have missed this so next time I will put the instructions on the itch page as well as in game.

Thanks for playing.

vixenmink 2021-05-06 12:58

@daspikeyboss ooh very nice. I will try the game again with these settings. Thank you for replying to my comments.

Whew, that got intense after about 800.... going so fast I could no longer click fast enough to catch fish!

After about 500 I felt like I was just putting all my money into pressure protection and buying the odd O2 / Repair which never seemed to cost enough to make adding capacity or robustness worth while.

That said, well balanced for a game that was made in a weekend!

I know there was a keyboard alternative but I was happier using the menu, just wished it was a little smaller so I could see more of the screen.

Not sure what 'control' does for you... I wonder if it slows you down... that would explain a lot..
