The controls seem to be a little bugged out and I cannot move correctly.
I would say there is a big difference between the two parts: hell is really fun to play while paradise is quite boring, I know it is a labyrinth but it feels like it lacks something (maybe a bit of action like small random games that would give a hint or some enemies, kind of like in a dungeon crawler). Other than that, it's really beautiful and music is cool. Overall a nice game, especially for one made alone
@vivien-fargette Thanks for the quality feedback. But this is a jam category, this game was made by two people.
@okean oh, as you were the only account linked, I thought you were alone (you must be in jam if you import assets, even if you are alone) but nevertheless, the game is good
Wow EPIC graphics for the jam) 33 kills for me in total (sensitivity is quite big)
du bist sehr charmant!!
God I really love how the bodies explode when you shoot them, gorefests are always nice to look at. The only thing I would have liked is for the "paradise" area to be more interesting to look at, otherwise good job
the game looks nice. I would like some more variety, or sort of markers in the labyrinth world, maybe statues and i think the combat could be spiced up nicely with a bit of screenshake and weapon variety.
Can I just say how absolutely terrifying that hell column following you is the first time you see it. At first I wanted to jump into it, but then I realized it was just following me and laying the track I had previously run into. Overall a decent challenge, but the shooting mechanics weren't the best. I'm sure with some polish and maybe some kind of story input this could be a whole ass game. Could you imagine if the Doom Slayer got to skip through a heavenly hedge maze on his days off. That would be hilarious.
I loved the contrast between both worlds, it is really charming
Paradise and hell had a nice contrast in art style, it was well done. Game was nice and smooth, I missed crosshair in hell.
I was somewhat lucky to find exit before entering hell at all on the first run (I thought I should avoid going in loops to fall into hell).
It was a nice game. Well done.
Keep up the good work.
I kinda agree with @vivien-fargette, I don't find a point in the labyrinth, was quite boring. But the hell running from the zombies was quite fun and gory! GJ
Shooting in the game was fun but I am sadly very bad at 3d mazes so I was unable to find the end. Overall was pretty fun from what I did see.
a good take on the theme but it is too loud when you are in underworld
I liked the stark contrast between the two worlds in this.
Like others, I felt I had most to do during the hell sections with running, dodging and shooting. I wished that the garden / non-hell part had more meaning. Maybe if there was a way to get some diretions / guidance during the maze that would have increased my agency there?
Cool jam!
This is a cool idea. I think the sensitivity was a bit too high but otherwise cool game! The giant hell block just following me in paradise was pretty creepy!
Everywhere is suffering, one is introspective and creeping, the other external and rushing. A really good take on the theme. The art and style is very good. It looks great. The controls are a bit weird that you always get pulled around.
Cool idea. As others have said sensitivity is WAY too high. I also would've liked some sort of hint or indicator that I was getting close. I ended up giving up after about 10 minutes of trying and many visits to hell. good job though!
