Cool concept! The music gives a nice vibe too. Gameplay was a bit hard to figure out at first (and the timer made it a little stressful), but I got the hang of it eventually. The controls & hitboxes for interacting with objects felt a little awkward, like on the bridge it almost seemed like the console was interactable but maybe I was just hitting the edge of the cryo pod. Also the shades of green for the different item levels were a bit subtle and hard to differentiate as they got up to 100% health. Felt a bit tedious after the first year - I thought the game was going to end when I got in the cryo pod so I didn't spend much time healing people the first time around. Pretty interesting experience overall though. Nice work!

Graphics look good, very impressive for a short jam. Unfortunately can't actually play it. Are you able to make a web build?

Simplistic but engaging gameplay, doesn't get any better than that. Took some time running around at the start figuring out what to do, but once I got the hang of it it's quite easy. Great work!

Simplistic, but looks good! Didn't really understand what I was doing at first. The "hitboxes" for interacting with things were very awkward though. Was fun! Finished year 1!

Really great mood, with the sorta slow music and the broken robots, it had a really good atmosphere to it. Took me a bit to figure out how some stuff worked, but overall a really cool game!

I really like the graphics. Well done. I would prefer if there was a short introduction, to know what to do in the beginning.

I liked the gameplay, though initally it took a bit to get my mind into it. Perhaps a tutorial of sorts would help with it. Besides that gave me the Space Station 13 vibe, which I love. Graphics wise, I digged the style, but the walls were a bit weird compared to everything else. I'd love to see you develop this a bit further and tidy up some weird spots on the graphics, could turn into a gem! :)

Cool game! I like the concept and overall atmosphere of that broken mothership. Dead robots laying around are very nice touch to the overall picture of a catastrophe.

It can be developed into a bigger game. Just needs some tuning.

Collision boxes are little bit off - sometimes you need to make several approaches to be able to interact. Additional feedback would be nice - more sound and animation on interaction. Just to show that something is happening. Plus more hints would be really nice.

P.S. I myself have created a space station maintenance game, so had to struggle with the same issues - nobody understands how to play or what to push and what is happening in general. I've made a fix with tutorial, but it not solved the problem completely. So I'm still wondering how to teach the player to interact with all the systems and provide needed feedback.

The first year of this game felt really good. I had no idea what I was doing at first, and I kinda liked it. It all just clicked towards the end and I had this frantic rush to generate power and get into my pod. This felt like such a good ending, but then I saw I had an hour more to go... Since there was no discernible difference between year 1 and 2 I couldn't get myself to play much longer. Loved the music and aesthetics of the game. High marks!

Didn´t read your description before I started the game, was a bit hard to figure out what to do. And the interaction with objects wasn´t always 100%, sometimes I needed to try several times.

Game looks great. Nice graphic, decent music. But the field where I can use space or c is very small and I go over it every time moving right or left, up or down. Which doesnt allow me to play it.

oh, special thanks for the Pause :D it's so rare on ludum. The game is nice but the control needs to be a bit changed, sometimes when you come to an item the interaction doesn't happen

Thanks @adhesion, @shaolin-dave, @saltfactory-studio, @turkey, @yubs, @mineiwik, @svenerik, @invader, @btmodz, @mattias-a-pallin, @kate90, @kiddychris for all the precious feedback! It means a lot to me!

And @shaolin-dave, i made the web version just because of you! I hope you enjoy it! =D

Graphics are good, the music and sound set the tone extremely well. The exception with the graphics is that the UI isn't properly scaled, everything is the same pixel size regardless of resolution: Screen Shot 2020-05-01 at 6.43.56 PM.png The controls made it a bit hard to play, the character would often walk right past where I was trying to get to. "C" to interact is a bit unconventional, "E" is the standard nowadays. I also don't think using "Space" seprately is necessary, the same button could have been used for both. But I do appreciate the on-screen context-sensitive instructions when there was something to interact with.

love the graphics, I can see some efforts them ! Maybe work more on themap tiles, but appreciated you didnt use free assets whatever in your game, try to stay original !

This was the game I wanted to make but didn't have the skills to do so. Great job! The graphics are simple but effective in setting the mood, and so is the audio. Likewise, the game itself is also simple, but I found it a bit confusing at first, especially with how exactly I was supposed to keep the crew alive. Maybe some text at the start to explain my responsibilities on the ship, or a short tutorial. I got it eventually though since the symbols were super intuitive (although not sure what the benefit of lowering/ turning off the generators is).
