Interesting game, but the controls were rather hard to grasp. Was the game designed for a gamepad? If so, you may want to state as such in the description or title screen. I do want to add, however, that I appreciate the bananaship.

I love space fighter games. The boost looks really cool. Aiming is a bit wierd tho since the squares in the center don't align with where you shoot. Having multiplayer in a jam game is awesome, what did you use to get it working? Great Job! :)

The level design was pretty kick ass and really had a nice scale to it. I got side tracked just boosting around the asteroid fields looking for cores. Nice touch with the icons pointing at mothership and power cores at a distance. The target sights are a little low for mid range combat, but perfect up close. I got through with forgetting about a roll or throttle. The Y Invert and sensitivity option controls are awesome and makes for much better experience. Sound effects would be sweet, sometimes I would look up to almost dead mothership, or have a guy on my tail for ages. A little momentum preservation when spinning around would be cool, I found it easy to spin around and backstep people. Good job!

This game is awesome! A controls are little difficult at first but you get a hang of them after playing for a bit. Had fun with it! Nice job!

I had fun flying around, shooting enemies and it all felt really cool. I think it controls pretty smoothly after setting the mouse sensitivity down and the y-inversion maybe I'm missing something but the y-inversion felt weird and I don't think it should be the default. I actually did not see my assignment was more than protecting the ship for a while. when I found out I should collect power I could not figure out how to collect the cores, I just flew into them aand died. Also the ship pointer was there but it should be something more eyecatching than the grey of the ship, at first I didn't notice it and lost the ship for a couple of minutes. Music really set the atmosphere and the graphics were fine, I think the red triangles looked very hostile :) OVerall good game which could use a bit of polish.

Hi @shakedimus ! Yeah, maybe we should flip the y-inversion. I usually flip it myself. And you must shoot the sentinels to get the power cores inside. Sounds like we could be more clear about those being 'sentinels' not 'power cores'. Great feedback, we appreciate it!

This is a great GameJam game. The controls were smooth, responsive and felt great with the mouse and keyboard. Had no problems flying the ship. The graphics were nice and I liked the level design and the lighting. Having the trails from the enemy ship engines really helped with the combat. For future updates, you could look into updating the HUD to provide a radar to help notify where the enemies are as well as provide details about each enemy. Depending if you are planning to go with textures or not for the ships, so either adding more textures or adding more polygon detail to the ships would help improve aesthetics. Adding extra sound effects would also add more atmosphere to the game. Well done for what you have done, this is a really great game and you should definitely keep working on it.

It's overall a very good game! "ROLL" and "Boost" especially feel good! Even surprised it has multiplayer mode!

A lot of hard work went into this, and it shows. Great job! It would be nice to invert the controls on the mouse.

@jeplmr you can invert the controls in the in-game menu by pressing 'tab' and toggling 'invert y-axis'. And thank you! I was definitely working hard, lol! :sweat_smile:
