This game was not made for me, as I have somewhat of a medical phobia, and I also suck at rhythm games x3
But anyway, it won't keep me from saying that:
This game looks awesome! (Basically, everything is amazing, except the title screen buttons and the "You lost" text which kind of look odd to me, I can't really say why, but the rest of the game is wow)
The musics are great (even though I wasn't able to listen to the main music for long x3 but it is awesome from what I've heard!)
The idea is nice, although a bit hard for me, as I suck at both rhythm games and focusing on two tasks at the same time x3 (it didn't keep me from having fun though!)
Even so, this still is a game that will end up on my favorite game list, for all the polish and good ideas that it as!

The game was insanely intense and at certain parts, I had nothing to do and it was horrifying. This game could be very fun if made into a full game. I wish that you didn't have to drag the different items maybe just click to select and then click on the right character to help keep the rhythm.

Great idea. Rhythm games for me are 20% mechanics and 80% good ass songs. This one has a catchy beat and the controls seem responsive enough to play effectively. Nice entry!
The starting mash(?) is intense and kind of confusing, but once you get into it it's really fun. One of my favourites so far. Stellar looks and audio.

This game is intense and quirky and weird and I FUCKING LOVE IT! It's my favorite game so far, and I've played a lot of them already! The puns make me laugh stupidilly hard, and the music is simple the bomb! I also love how the art is minimalistic and funny, but there's definitely some care to make the surgeons moove and dance and groove. Thank you very much for this, and congratulations for the great work <3 I would love to play more of this (already finished it like 3 times lol) . Please upload the song to Soundcloud or smth <3
@piggles That's an excellent suggestion! We did talk about requiring the mouse input to sync with the beat, but not about removing the dragging. That would have felt so good using the inter-beat times to move the mouse and then clicking on the beat. Thanks!
@moskoman Thanks for checking it out! Here's there song :eyes: https://closecallstudios.bandcamp.com/track/fetch-me-my-tools

Wow, so this is incredibly challenging. I really love the humor, reading the game description made me laugh out loud, actually playing the game I was not so good at. But I love the creativity, good work
Intense! Love the music and the concept. Took me a couple tries to get into the groove but totally worth it!!

I LOVE IT ! It took some time to get the beat right but after that it was a blast ! The only thing I regret is not being good enough to have the time to read enjoy the dialogs. Very good game !

One of the best games I've played so far! The music is super cool and groovy, the two mechanics are simple but fun. It's judt a bit hard to get used to the beat. I loved it, great job!
I like it, this is the gem I was looking for! Good job c:
One of the most overall creative games I have played so far. The puns and storyline are really clever and funny. I played on my macbook and it was challenging for me using the track pad but it was engaging enough that I kept trying despite the delightful pixelated carnage. Everything works together really well. I would love to play this by tapping and dragging on my phone or ipad.
Watched the trailer, saw the screenshots, read the texts... All real good! I tried the game and... well, couldn't manage to play. The absence of tutorial or "free trial" made it impossible for me to know what I was doing wrong, and I kept loosing before having any fun... :( I'm sad I didn't manage to play it, because the music is great, the humor is top-notch, and the characters are lovely. Wouldn't mind getting an update on the game state if you ever release a version with "noob mode".
the concept is really good, but it took me a solid 5 minutes to figure out what was going on, and even then i still didn't know how to play! a little confusing for me
@thibaud-ligneul @matthew-hrehirchuk Thanks for the feedback on the intuitiveness of the game. I always like to avoid having tutorials in jams because they introduce a lot of potential bugs and become overly hacky (even by jam code standards). One thing I think we could do in the future is add a static image describing the mechanics after clicking play, but before things become hectic. This would allow us to include demonstrations of where to look for certain UI elements.
Really good sense of humor but I couldn't figure out how to play.

The game has a great art and soundtrack, but that's all I could experience... The mashing at the start, plus the punishment for missing the timing + pressing a key off the beat makes you lose really fast. This is a project I'd like to try more if it gets updated!
Quack
good mood and aesthetic, but for some reason i could never get the key presses right?
Really hard game, kind of some Undertale vibes ! It took me a lot of try to understand how to play but the ambiance and the music is really good ! GG !

woooow, that was hard! :D i'm sucker for rhythm games, so i enjoyed it greatly. Addition of giving is tools for doctors was super challenging. Also the art is on point! The trailer is totally awesome, i was prepared to see Nintendo Switch Logo, it was so professional :D

I would love to get into this game, because I love beat games like Crypt of Necrodancer, but I could not figure it out. This game could use some kind of tutorial which slowly introduces you into the mechanics without overwhelming the player. I tried so many times, but I could not figure out if my actions actually had some effect.
But the graphics look nice and the music is funky. That much I could see and hear in my otherwise short games :)
