I can't complete it :( I will keep trying. Nice game!

norris-eldridge 2020-04-21 00:07

Nicely done! A bit odd that the menu is in Spanish and then the rest of it is English. That aside, really solid entry. I was a bit confused by the fact that you have to get to the red tile, then hold that direction and press space. Seeing as it looks like a floor I figured I should have been able to walk right on to it. Perhaps making it look like a door would have made it more natural that you need to do something other than walk on it. That or just make it so stepping on it moves you to the next section.

Thank you for the feedback! I really forgot some parts were in spanish.

soupsauce 2020-04-21 00:50

I like the concept! The flame looks really good, I like that there are different elements involved.

owinmowe 2020-04-21 01:08

Thank you very much, i enjoyed making it too.

takayamushi 2020-04-21 03:18

Wow cool entry! Had to play a second time when I failed horribly the first time around, haha

owinmowe 2020-04-21 06:17

Haha, ty. I will make a real tutorial in the future. For now i patched up the english/spanish inconsistency.

taran-unraveler 2020-04-21 14:48

Nice game! I liked very much the particle for the fire, really. We put quite an effort to create ours for our game, but that looks really nice too! Solid concept, clear mechanics and nice visuals. Nothing more to add, just well done!

owinmowe 2020-04-21 17:39

Thank you for the kind words. I saw your game too and i liked it a lot. Cheers!

Good Game! Like It!

selavy 2020-04-21 22:18

Solid idea, liked the pace obstacles were introduced at and the variety thereof. The press right + space to progress was a little confusing, and the torch movement speed was a bit slow in my opinion, but pretty good overall.

thedouche 2020-04-21 22:21

Haha, nice! Really great and fun little game! Keep on going dude!

hoseccan 2020-04-22 06:21

Very calm gameplay, which is great) You can stick into it

paologinefra 2020-04-22 08:47

Nice game but if the torches can move why should the fire change torch instead of just keep moving?

haro-games 2020-04-22 09:25

Hi, good entry, intersting mechanics and good effort with the 3d and the sound, good job

owinmowe 2020-04-22 11:54

@PaoloGinefra In my idea there was supposed to be a rock blocking the way and torchs should need to share the fire to keep going. Time restrictions made me cut edges everywhere, but nice catch :D!

very-dark-lord 2020-04-22 15:37

Nice! Clean concept, good atmosphere, nice effects. The only thing I would have personally changed is being able to restart in the generation you ended at as opposed to having to start all over. May not be 100% in line with the idea behind the game, but would probably make it more fun to play. At generation 6 I think (with the two tornados) I thought to myself "oh well, let's just move right and see whether I'm lucky", which of course I wasn't. :D Respawning at generation 1 however wasn't what I expected to happen. Also, a minor point, but I probably would have preferred to just see the "enemies" and their behaviors as opposed to reading in detail what they do. Observing and figuring out their deal would have been satisfying I think. Great work though!

owinmowe 2020-04-22 22:58

You are right about the start over problem, it was one of the many features i had to cut but will probably update in the future. Thank you very much for the feedback!

carlofalltrades 2020-04-23 07:30

HI, it's really good as first game!

I would have preferred the tutorial as a separate thing, because doing it every time you die is frustrating :sob:

bryce-mysona 2020-04-23 07:36

I really liked the particle effects and the chill music! Nicely Done!

imod 2020-04-23 21:20

Interesting game. Very nice.

nicolasjl9 2020-04-27 00:13

Gran juego chicos! Me gusto mucho los FX de las particulas, y la musica me dejo flasheando

owinmowe 2020-04-27 14:27

Gracias Troesma!

madbarron 2020-04-28 16:12

Nice particle work. I would suggest that there is no need to have the user hold space and right to finish a level. Maybe just make it so they can move onto a special tile that ends the level? It would also be great if individual levels could be restarted when you die.

One thing that would help with the game feel is if you could queue up the next move before the current move finishes animating. Otherwise, input feels like it is lost.

Congrats on finishing an entry, and I hope you keep up the good work!

Nice puzzle game! The graphics look good, the music is really great. There are three things I'd add to make it even better:

1. Checkpoint system. When you complete a generation, the game should save the progress. It's really disheartening when you beat a few levels, then get surprised by something new and have to go through all of the same levels again. 2. The level end square should work automatically. Make it so the player can enter the red tile, and when they do the level is completed. 3. There should be some better marking of dangerous tiles. Because of the 3D view it's sometimes difficult to see where the water balls actually are and where are they going to shoot. Light up the tiles underneath the enemies, so the player knows those are the dangerous tiles. Likewise, when the balls fire the water stream, light up the tiles underneath it.

All in all, it's a really solid entry. I enjoyed playing it! ;)

owinmowe 2020-05-04 06:38

Tyvm for the feedback! I agree completely with your feedback and i love the number 3. It reminds me of the Megaman Battle Network entries and i think it would be an amazing feature.

prakkus 2020-05-10 19:56

This is a nice little game! Some bits I really enjoyed: 1. Tutorializing each new obstacle as they come in was great 2. The obstacles were easy to understand and clear from the visuals 3. Music! You also get a lot of bonus points from me for not defaulting the music/sound sliders to 100% 4. Putting the player somewhere 'safe' at the start of each level is much appreciated!

Like some others, I expected to be able to walk onto the victory tile. I also think red is an odd color for 'victory' since often red means 'bad' or 'stop'. Not a big deal at all though!
