nice game, poor bunny! hahaha

A really cute little game. Only criticism I could think of off the top of my head was that it wasn't clear I was making any sort of progress as I took care of things. Up until the final wave on predators spawned I was worried that I was going to use up the last carrot on the map and just slowly watch the bunny die :( Also I found the Easter Egg :P

Cool game, good job on finishing!

Here's my feedback: * The UI shakes when you move - maybe it's not on a CanvasLayer, which is what I think it should be on so it doesn't shake? * The game doesn't really tell you what the objective is, so I wandered around for a few minutes before coming back here and finding out what it is. * I like your art style, but there's a few tweaks to animation / movement that would help improve it (less shaky movement + animation on moving instead of constantly)

My first thought was what happens if I starve the bunny to death... I wonder if there's something wrong with me?

cute, simple and exactly what I wanted when I read the description. well done!

nice game, really cute :)

An incredibly cute game, the bunny is very demanding though. Is there a win condition? I tried to keep him alive but ran out of carrots eventually (or I just didnt find them). I also really liked the "take damage"-effect that the crow had, it was really cool.

Just a relaxing, sweet game that I really enjoyed. Thank you for making it

@simon-rahnasto I think you may have commented on the wrong page!!

simon-rahnasto 2020-04-24 22:50

@drewstillwell Thats correct, your comment ended up on the other game. Both of the entries had similar looking pages (similar amount of text and no images) sorry for the mixup. I am have swapped the comments and ratings, thank you for notifying me

@simon-rahnasto Thanks for playing! Yes, there is a win condition and plenty of carrots in order to get there!

If you like fighting the crows, then please try again and feed Bunny 10 carrots for the end of the game fight :)

its cute, its simple, good litle jam game

Cute simple game with easy controls. Only criticism would be pacing as in, to possibly add a sense of urgency early on to make it more pressing and engaging.

Adorable! Great graphics and sound. Also the brief tutorial at the beginning is a great way to get new players started. Once you've gotten the hang of things, though, the player movement feels a bit slow-- I wish I could move around faster so that I could explore further in the level.

drewstillwell 2020-05-03 18:32

@yxmx-rsx - Thanks for playing and the feedback! We chose to design the game with a more laid-back, peaceful feel intentionally to contrast with the stress of the theme. Though I get your point in how urgency might bring more early engagement. We'll think about that for next time :)

@danthegreat - Thanks for playing! I had a family member play the game early in development so that we would have a better idea what sort of tutorial would be needed. Thanks for the feedback on player movement speed, have any ideas how to change the movement mechanics? We were going for simplicity and a laid-back atmosphere and feel but I agree it can take some time to traverse the map.
