I like the atmosphere. Is there a way to build fires away from the central fire?

You wrote all of this in Rust and WebGL? That's really impressive to do over a weekend, well done! This is a cool entry. You did a good job with the ambience of the game and setting the atmosphere. It's a pretty simple concept at the core but I think the main game mechanic is done well. It would be cool if there was some other element or challenge to it that appeared over time, but for a jam game this is really good, especially considering the technical work you put into it!

impressive work doing your own engine. Our games have a very similar idea behind them, I also just have chop trees and drag logs as actions

Very cute game. The atmosphere is spot on, but a little simple with the mechanics. Both good and bad. It could be cool if you cool somehow relocate the fire. The music is nice, and not distracting - overall adding to the experience. And you wrote this in Rust? Nice, I've been wanting to try it out myself. How was it? :)

Well done!

Wow, it's an amazing work. Having done your own engine in a 3 day lenght jam is an achievement. Well done! I liked the atmosphere. Simple, and works. It would be nice having something else, but just like that, I felt it really chill and conforting even with the cold mechanic. Good job!

This is a really impressive game. I like it. I would have enjoyed it a bit more if there was a specific goal such as chop X trees, stay alive for X minutes, etc. Otherwise really impressive. Kudos for using Rust!

I really like the fact thas the sound comes back louder when you add logs to the fire. Also the character becoming smaller adds a nice twist and gives a sense of urgency. The atmosphere of the game was nice. The gameplay itself wasn't really interesting as you are trying to keep the fire running so you will run from one tree to the next and go back to the fire. This means you will deforest a radius and then die. Even if you are the best player ever, you can't survive forever.

Good job ! As others have said, I think the game might be missing something, maybe a goal, or another mechanic to keep the player invested.

But I'm impressed that you were able to make your own engine from scratch in only 3 days, well done !
