Tiny but nice game. Music is great :thumbsup: and it's easy to get into the game. Collect some blood for evil hitting :laughing:
I really liked the concept of the game, just if you wanted to improve the game you could put how much ammo/blood you have left.
You did really well given only half the time (if I'm understanding the holiday part right)!
@sebeee The blood that's left show trough the red circle in your characters core. (I imagine it as the mass of blood you've collected) But I can see how this is not clear. My girlfriend also didn't get that :/
@zesix Well, I had two days out of three. So I ended up making it a compo game. But I would have liked to create a larger Jam game. Thanks anyway :smile:
For some reason I can't play the game. On WebGL it shows just a black screen and when I download the game and play it it doesn't do anything :slight_frown: :cry:
Quite a good little game! It would be nice to have some more enemy types, and for the difficulty to increase slower, but sooner - I spend about 2-3 minutes playing before it got challenging, and then died almost instantly, as it went from about 2-3 enemies on screen to 7 or 8.
The area of play felt really tiny but your game is really good. I really enjoyed the gameplay and the music. Good job!
This is pretty fun! I like the balance between the two types of enemies, ranged and melee. And the trade-off between bullets, health, and the fact that enemies drop more blood makes for some good split-second strategizing.
Something I want to call out is that despite the art style and color scheme in general being kind of rudimentary, there are some very cool little animations on the enemy attacks. Nice work. As an animator myself I always appreciate that kind of polish.

@alex-davies Good advice, I think you're right. But I didn't think about ik like that when making the game.
