"Cool" concept. I wasn't sure what I was doing at first, but before I knew it I was swiping like a mad man with a chainsaw. I like it! Would be cool to get some cutting sound effects and maybe see some ice chunks fall or a cutting effect. Keep up the good work

gordy 2018-12-04 18:37

Cool idea! I like the idea that u have to cut the ice to fit in holes but at start I did not knew what to do and then the ice was so slow and the camera was little faster so I could not saw the ice. It is a nice little game but there is lot to improveice.png

rokkos 2018-12-04 18:40

@dry-squid Thank you for your encouraging words :D Totaly forgot about that maybe I will add in this. Thanks for suggestion :D

rokkos 2018-12-04 18:42

Thanks @gordy! Yea I know it's a little bugy from time to time... and a lot could be improved.. but we had only 36 hours (from Saturday at 8.00am to Sunday 8.00pm). This is beacuse we had onsite game jam.

niarkou 2018-12-04 19:01

I liked the overall mood, I found it very relaxing :)

After some time I got a bug and the screen froze. But I enjoyed my experience anyway, keep going!

abso 2018-12-04 19:01

Great idea however the objective was not that apparent. Additionally when the ice gets to a certain width my PC will ask me to allocate some space to continue playing, overall the idea of the game was amazing. Would love for some feedback and a rating on mine too :D

fenerax 2018-12-04 19:05

Concept was really good, interesting take on the theme. Some music or sound effects would add to the game quite a lot but I know that's quite hard with limited time. Overall a really interesting game if you take it further you could add levels or more mechanics which could expand on this concept.

mike-mihe 2018-12-04 19:11

I think your idea has already been seen by some from ketchapp publisher and they want to make such a game) I hope you will be the first)

papercookies 2018-12-04 19:12

The idea isn't that bad at all, but I feel there's a lot that could've been better. An indication of where I was cutting would be a start. There's a lot of bugs as well, such as the ice block stopping on some slopes. All in all it wasn't a very fun experience, but it's clear that some effort was put into this and I applaud you for it! The logo and graphics are also very nice looking!

PS: I recommend opting out of the Audio category as you're game didn't have audio and it'll only drag your score down!

It's a nice tech demo, the slicing seemed to work quite flawlessly from what I gathered when playing. The idea of a sort of an endless runner together with the slicing also has a lot of potential.

erehuc 2018-12-04 19:20

Fun and innovating ! Could be a nice and relaxing game on phone, slicing thing is great ! Take me few try to understand how did this sacrificing cube work to start scoring, but there is no distance counter on my screen :( Couldn't succeed to install it on phone, don't know why :/ Good game overall !

andrazg 2018-12-04 19:26

This game was really fun. Beautiful to look at. Great job guys.

lyrcaxis 2018-12-04 20:20

Game crashes after 30 seconds. I suggest you post a downloadable version instead of a Web-GL.

Also, I noticed there is no sound but you give credits to a Composer and Sound designer(???)

hectigo 2018-12-04 21:31

Pretty innovative for the simple game it is. Would've been nice if the cuts were visualized better, like seeing a preview which bit is going to be cut off. I feel like you could do a more complex physics-based game based on the cutting concept if you'd want to take this further.

rokkos 2018-12-05 04:49

@niarkou @abso @lyrcaxis Thanks for this comments and observation. This is probably due to that I only clear levels when a player dies and not while a player is playing. There is also a downloadable version on itch.io if you scroll down :D I will try to fix it as soon as possible.

rokkos 2018-12-05 04:56

@fenerax @papercookies @lyrcaxis Thanks to pointing this out. It works on mobile. But for WebGl there looks to be a common issue with sound in Unity. I will look at it and fix it.

rokkos 2018-12-05 04:58

@mike-mihe Hahahaha tnx I hope they don't steal it :D and maybe we will continue development of this (We will see how much our jobs let us)

rokkos 2018-12-05 05:00

@abso @fenerax @erehuc @rocketship @andrazg @hectigo Thanks for all compliments and maybe we will continue on developing this idea and concept.

saering 2018-12-06 09:37

I like the concept, it is pretty innovative but I think the controls are too hard to get used to and the game lacks feedbacks too much! Overall a good entry :)
