Very well polished game. The music and sound effects were good and the art was stellar.

The only problem I ran into was that once, it was the enemy's turn but nothing happened, and I had to exit the game because nothing kept happening.

Overall, great job!

great entry I wasn't understanding in the beginning but I got it.

ianlux 2018-12-05 02:19

10/10 game, please make more. (i'm not kidding, please a campaign mode out of this game or something, i would buy instantly)

nightvision65 2018-12-05 04:42

@darylsteak Thanks for your support!I think you just played an unfinished version of this game. We've updated our game, adding endings and tutorial, have fun!

Not working for me, I'm getting errors trying to extract the rar file. Is it just me?

nightvision65 2018-12-05 08:03

@pranjalbisht Try downloading again.

pranjalbisht 2018-12-05 08:29

@nightvision65 I keep getting this error: "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged"

nightvision65 2018-12-05 08:59

@pranjalbisht If redownloading doesn't work, I actually don't know what the problem is....It works well in my own computer.

pranjalbisht 2018-12-05 09:20

@nightvision65 Maybe it's the compression? I'd be really thankful if you could upload a .zip version of the file too.

nightvision65 2018-12-05 09:55

@pranjalbisht Done. Have fun ! :)

pranjalbisht 2018-12-05 13:23

Thanks a lot!

madbear-gang 2018-12-05 15:11

"Into the breach" vibes everywhere xD but you made an original map so I'm impressed. Audio and mood are great. Good job!

nightvision65 2018-12-05 15:19

@madbear-gang Glad you like it! We do get inspired a lot from “Into the breach”, but we also have our own innovations. Now you can destroy the buildings at your will without worrying about losing electricity XD.

briskimj 2018-12-06 02:25

Good concept. The enemies seemed a little OP, or maybe I'm just horrible. But A+ on the audio.

nightvision65 2018-12-06 02:33

@briskimj Thanks for the comment! Try using skills to repel enemies to the building, and then gnaw the low-HP buildings. Come closer to the Ravager and it will attack you instead of the building, which help you to earn better score. Usually the score is 6000+, if you didn't make it, you should change your strategy XD.

lalogrs 2018-12-06 13:40

Amazing game, i don't realize how you do this in that little time, the only thing i could say would be that the written tutorial, and the lack of a tutorial level itself, don't create a satisfactory feel of progression

nightvision65 2018-12-06 13:53

@lalogrs Thanks for your comment! We had wanted to add a tutorial level as the game mechanics is quite unique(actually we wanted to make 3 levels and a tutorial level at first), but it turned out that we were just too ambitious lol. We were running out of time, so making a written tutorial was the only choice.

thecritterscove 2018-12-06 14:48

The game is impressively complex for a weekend, but that also means it can be a lot for a player to take in. It may help in the instructions to have partial animations of what the attacks do. It was a little confusing on how to cancel attacks. The audio sounds really well made, but it's a little abrasive at times(I might just be sensitive). The visuals are very nice too. This game does have the potential to turn into a really good full fledged game.

nightvision65 2018-12-06 14:53

@thecritterscove Glad you like it! You can right-click to cancel the attack, we forgot to put it in the tutorial...

kirke 2018-12-07 21:01

Wow, you put a lot of effort to this game. I like your graphics and UI, very neat and intuitive. I enjoy that main character is Godzilla-style, moreover, it has good attack :D I am impressed you managed to do this game in 72h. Good job! :D

dock-frankenstein 2018-12-09 20:05

I really liked it!

coleslaughter 2018-12-10 07:53

Hoo boy, I would say 9 pages of tutorial text is a bit much to throw at a player before they even know how your game controls/plays. I'd recommend slowly doling out tutorial text as the player plays through the game. That way, they can attribute context to the actions you're trying to explain.

Other than that, though, this is a very well polished entry. Fantastic art/animations, plenty of depth, and quite a bit of polish (You had time to do a minimap too? Damn, that's impressive...). There's an impressive amount of stuff going on here for just being made in 72 hours. That's pretty admirable!

nightvision65 2018-12-11 07:43

@coleslaughter Thanks for the comment! We had wanted to make tutorial level, but we were just running out of time. We underestimated the scale of the project and spent too much time polishing our game. Anyway, we will try to do better next time!
