Hi, just tried to find your game at itch.io, but the page doesn't seem to exist :(

ternarycat 2018-12-03 12:41

I want to sacrifice myself, but ithc.io does not allow me(

weiiswurst 2018-12-04 14:07

So sorry to all of you, it looks like the game disappeared on itch.io! The link should work now.

attacking didn't seem to work, game didn't give good feedback, background make me dizzy.

Hello! Not bad game for start! But i think that you need to improve your skills in graphic and gameplay especially.

Interesting concept. I'd add some kind of mini map in order to know where you're located and some kind of feedback on the attack, so you can see you're damaging your enemies, and on the sacrifice, so you know it worked. Managed to survive up to level 3, but monsters end up getting me if I get close to attack. I see the game is beta, keep up the work!

It was an interesting concept, some good points, some bad points.

Here are some points to look : - No feedback when hiting the enemy - No life bar - I guess we are moving a bit fast

Fun concept, especial the ide of sacrificing attack for hp, but I had trouble with the movement and the background was irritating my eyes. More feedback when you attack and get hit would be good and maybe the ability to move backwards so you can hit the enemies while dodging their attacks.

denzil-gomes 2018-12-05 13:41

I like the idea of sacrificing you attack power to heal yourself. I wasn't sure when my attack was working so perhaps a little more feedback there. Congrats

marrack 2018-12-05 16:24

- background tiles should be more distinct not just a grid so you have a reference that tells you you are moving - animation is crucial in this kind of game. doesnt need to be top notch just a simple movement will do - player and enemy feedback is also essential. - apart from ui i cant tell if im actually sacrificing my attack to hp, maybe some particle effects or a simple animation in the player will give you a telegraph that something is happening.

all in all good concept, just needs to work more on execution. sorry for the harsh comment :D

weiiswurst 2018-12-05 16:41

@marrack no problem, I know that I am bad at making games :D

sadzanenyama 2018-12-05 16:45

I think other people like @marrack and @sabeurre have already stated the main problems with the game so I can't really add much but what they are saying is definitely true

antoine-vion 2018-12-06 10:07

Kinda difficult ^^" but goob job anyway!

Nice work on creating a game! :)

I did not beat it, but maybe it's endless? :D

I enjoyed combining the small enemies and move backwards while killing them.

I played it for 20 minutes and my record was Level 2 - 142 exp. Is that good? :D

weiiswurst 2018-12-06 18:41

@0x01f0 it is endless, because.... I like endless games :D

Please add "Epilepsy warning" for the HTML5 version  The math notebook lines really made my eyes go crazy.
